When operating in the post, are the hooks shots when you move the stick to the left or right more accurate than when you go straight up?

It depends because you can get put in animations going straight up, but hooks, post fades and post hop shoots are less prone to them. Keep them guessing by facing up and making a quick move. Leaning on the denfender, bumping them, spin fake ,pass fake and shot fakes will set up to make a move. Good move with a player like Mark Gasol and his go to move... Face up give a shot fake or jabstep, if they bite go baseline for the reverse. You can literally play like any big if you learn.
Are you guys able to double clutch consistantly when going for the layup? I can't seem to get the hang of it. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't but I can't really figure why. Does it just depend on the layup animation?

Yeah, that's what I was talking about.
As for the euro step dunk I really don't know. I don't think I've ever pulled it off so yeah it might not only be contextual. Maybe just like a regular euro step but with turbo aswell.

i play on the default camera and i really only do them when im driving down the middle of the lane. which means only holding the shot stick Right or Left.
you have to be in the driving to the hoop and be in the mid-range area to pull them off. just hold Back on the shot stick.

How would you go about pulling off a reverse layup when you're playing on the 2K camera with absolute controls? I've tried driving baseline and holding LT and the shotstick towards the baseline, but it just does a regular layup...
I just broke my brain trying to figure this out.
I'am still drunk though.
I'll come back when I have found the answer.

Is total control passing still in the game?
How do you player lock on-the-fly?
How do you player lock on-the-fly?
So, I have seen the CPU run the baseline during an inbound pass after a made basket but can not figure out how to do it this year......Last year this was done by Holding LT and using the right stick to move.........Last year it was explained under passing in the advanced controls but this year it is no where to be found.......Did 2k possibly forget to include this for the user but leave it in for the cpu.......If anyone knows how or if you can do it let me know.

I've been looking all over the net trying to figure out how to do the assortment of moves in the post that's shown when you go to edit your player in nba 2k13. The moves are in the shimmey shot normal (not the Dream Shake to the left and right) post protect shot and post protect spin shots. My question is what do you input for these moves to be preformed? Are they random or should your player be a certain rating to do these moves? Because every time I play Kobe in my player he does at least 4 or 5 of these moves in the post especially the pivot spin then fading shot off 1 leg. Can't figure it out for the life of me can someone help please
