Anyone knows how to do a tip-in from an inbound pass? I'm not looking for a dunk, just a tip-in?

When calling for a screen, I know that you let go when it says Fade above the guy if you want them to Pick & Pop and all that...

Has anyone had an issue where they can't stop it from filling all the way up to Pick & Roll? I've been using pick & rolls, pick & pops and pick & slips all the time in MyCareer, and all of a sudden, no matter when I let go of the button, the meter just keeps filling up, so I can no longer call for anything EXCEPT a pick & roll.

Yes in MyCareer, never once noticed it until about a week ago either. I don't get many minutes as PG but it doesn't seem to happen when I'm played there.

I've had this game a month and still can't get used to the controls....ugh. I keep forgetting to use the right stick and end up dribbling right in front of them... ****

I had the same problem. I think one of the best things I did was going through the training feature. That solved some of my problems. But also using the shot button in certain situations doesn't hurt either. On dunks or on swing passes to wide open players. I use the shot button. The beauty is that you can use both.

This is why I converted solely to the shot button early on, it's not so bad once you get used to it.

I need to run back through the training camp. I have a hard time chaining moves together.

^^That's what I did.^^ I think doing the drills vs another player (CPU) really helped out in the long run.

Anyone know what's the most effective dribbling combo for an ankle breaker?

I found that the combo of between the legs-> to left to right crossover (or vice versa) seems to break defenders off consistently.

I'll explain it this way: while on the run with a defender ahead of you, work the control stick in this fashion as if you we're looking at the face of a clock. So for this move it would be ( w/ ball in right hand) 7 o'clock then "flick" the stick to 3 o'clock. Hope that helps.

Things that drops the CPU the most from my experience is Hesitation into behind the back. Any move into a behind the back would do though.

Speaking of dropping players, I have NEVER been dropped by another human player. Nor have I EVER dropped anybody. The falling animation from my experience, and that's quite a few online games now, doesn't happen in pvp.

In other words, Tim hardaway's crossover remains king lol... I found that looking at videos of ai, hardaway, and rose/Williams highlights give me combos that plant the CPU on their a$$ a lot

Saw a Georgetown clip of AI (stationary position) where he did two dribbles behind his back, an in - an- out , followed by a double crossover Into a drive (tried that one on the CPU an they seem to stumble a lot)

Ive seen it numerous times.

Ive made at least 5-6 guys drop since the game released. And my ankles have been broken and I have been put on my *** at least a good 3 times since release.

You can. I did it with Blake Griffin and I seen one of my boys pull it off Rudy Gay on the break.

Best way is to be wide open on the fastbreak with a dunker capable of it Iggy, Rudy Gay, Blake, Jr Swish, Kobe etc.

It's just like doing the spin dunk, but just on the break. So just move the stick in a circular motion clockwise.

# 539 RyanFitzmagic @ 12/16/12 05:36 PM
Is it not possible to do a drop step after a spin or a drive from the low post? Can we only drop step while backing down?

# 540 Vni @ 12/27/12 10:31 AM
I don't understand the logic with post turn arounds this year. In freestyle Hall of fame - Sim with kobe bryant with no defense on me, I'am not making any of them unless im right under the rim. I make some sometimes off course but there is no logic to it.

The back to the basket game is just isn't as fun this years, simply because the fadeways have been nerfed so much (I know KG and Dirk are still pretty good at it) that the up'and'unders have became also really unneffective. The rules when someone is backing you down is never try to contest/jump on anything because the Hook shot is ineffective and so is the fadeaway.

I realise it's a tough shot in reality, but Kobe should make some of them or atleast there should be a logic to it.

I've found out that post turnarounds work well with players that (are good at it sure) but have hot zones in the paint and around it. Like Jordan, KG, Dirk.
