I used to use 2k all the time, but I change mine every so often. Keeps the game fresh, and some guys releases I shoot better with on different camera angles. No idea why

How do you do a drop step in the post?

For some reason I don't think it's in this years game, but with 2K advanced post game I highly doubt it wouldnt be in.

Double tap b while aiming the left stick at the rim & LT + RT + right stick up.

Quick question, how in the world do you do signature layups with any of Chris Paul or Rajon Rondo. I went into freestyle gym with them and I couldn't do any of their layup packages, just normal layups, hopsteps euro steps. Where's the cool animations shown on the layup packages?

Use the dropstep layup move in the post! Should be in the controls under post moves.

Good grief that's a lot of crap to remember for a drop-step. 2K11 was nice in that the move was just mapped to one of the trigger buttons.

I thought it was said before that you just back down, and press B to do the drop, then you just dunk as normal.

How do you do the Dream Shake/Curry/Rondo Special?

I know it's in the game and it comes out once in like 30 tries when I'm screwing with the flick/flick moves in practice but I can't get it to trigger reliably.

Haha, know exactly what you mean. Absolutely loving this game but im finding it hard, even on pro difficulty . Saying that, i've decided that i'm going to stick with one team and try to learn about the players and their strengths and weaknesses in practice mode. It's seems to be working as i've won the last 2 games i've played. Wonderful game.

Man I'm struggling...I've had the game since it came out. I just feel like when I'm in certain situations during the game my brain freezes and I end up mashing buttons lol....Been playing on PRO with sliders suggested on this site...Keep losing by 10-12. Just gotta keep at it.

I totally know where you are coming from. What helped me as I said earlier was sticking to one team then going into practice mode and just play around with one player. I used the back button a lot which shows you the hotspot of that player. You can then just change to another player and find out his hot spots. I also found just learning a few moves at a time and using them in a game. Then once you are happy then add in a couple more.
Anyway, these points have helped me. I suppose it just comes down to the usual....practice, practice and more practice

does anyone know how to attempt to steal a post entry pass if you're guarding the guy posting up?

use the right stick to battle and gain better position so that u can get your arm in the passing lane. then press the steal button when they pass to him

Been doing this lately & it helped! i FINALLY beat the Heat as the 76ers in my associations, 12 min quarters tough sliders. My hands we're getting sweaty at the end lol.

I guess nobody knows how to pull off the signature layup packages. I know some of them are situational but come on they never work. What's the point in even having them in the game if we can't use them. It shows rondo having about 4 different up and unders, d rose have a few pump fake leaners, hell even d wade has a couple that looks like its just a regular contact layup but those animations never trigger. Are these things glitched or are they so rare that we will never get to see them. Let us know something 2k, you don't even tell us how to do them or what the situation needs to be to pull them off. Last years game I was able to pull off Jamal crawfords signature layup and Kobe Bryant's pretty much at will, this year it's freakin impossible. Can we get a tutorial video, hell I'll even take a regular video of somebody just doing the damn moves. Sorry for the long post but this is ridiculous. If its glitched please fix it with the patch.
