Then your not pushing the rstick toward the basket. Your pushing left or right of the basket. You have to push directly at it.

Every year I post about it because it is a very important part of the fastbreak.
Can anyone can check this out for me? It's a big deal for me.

What changes are you looking for? You press A+B and this causes the passer to cut.

I hate this personally. A & B isn't combination of buttons that's easy for me to press, and i used give & go a lot.

Pared it used to be L2 + R2 + X. That was the easiest. Last year I forgot what it was. But the problem was the player that give up the ball. Never cut to the basket. He would stop in his tracks. And then start moving again (slowly). Giving the defense more then enough time to get back into position. I never used it.

A + B is a little weird because how do you tell the cpu to go in for the layup if the defender stays.

It's one of those basic things that turned me off to last years game.

Oh no - they def. cut now.

I kept having a hand/brain freeze and accidentally doing an Alley-oop under the basket last night.

^^But that happens every year^^
I remember when they changed Alley Oop a few seasons ago. I was throwing oops by mistake for a good month lol. Every year they change something people practiced so hard the year before. Just need to re-practice lol

Thanks!!

Tomorrow I get my copy. Should be really interesting

If anything, they made the self-alleys too easy. Ugh.

There should be a controllable option on the catch. Your timing is off and you botch the alley. It shouldn't be this easy.

I just did 10 in a row with Bron in practice. He can do it from the dotted line. With Wade you have to b deeper but you can still do it. I got the layup with Wade if I wasn't deep enough.

so when during the sequence do you press x?

I've tried everything and it don't work for me. No matter how close to the basket I am its a lay up every time. I don't know how you did it 10 times in a row. Anybody else on here that can do the drop step dunk from face up position?

Have you tried training camp yet? Also, what player are you trying to do this with?

Wait... I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense. How do you do the drop step while facing up? Don't you have to be backing someone down to do the drop step?

I thought the same exact thing only didn't want to ask.
