NBA 2K13 Demo Available Now For 360 and PS3, Post Impressions Here

The NBA 2K13 demo is available now on the Marketplace for Xbox Live "GOLD" members (available next week for Silver). Most are getting it by searching for "2K13" or going to Genre ---> Sports and Recreation. You can also queue it up right here.

The PS3 demo arrives later this afternoon, we'll update this post when it's available.

UPDATE: PS3 demo is available now. If you don't see it, search for it.

The new controls take a little while to get used to, so make sure you check out the Controls trailer, we posted yesterday.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat
1 Five minute quarter
Quick Game and Online Quick Match. Can't invite friends, just random.
Can't change sliders, camera view, make substitutions or call plays
No commentary
Kinect enabled

There was no collision because Bosh stepped back/back peddled and there is no suction 2 man animations there

I don't know why Kevin Durant has a windmill in his dunk package he's never done a windmill in a NBA game.

I have a feeling 2K knows alot of casuals will play with Durant so they just throw that in there to please them.

good call, the hyped up collisions kinda disappeared there. i guess it was replaced with the "sliding on ice for 5 feet" animation.

Old problem that wasnt fixed even in retail. Same happens in up and unders. Defender just slides away.

He actually didn't slide. His feet did a real quick shuffling sideways hop thing.

I was wondering that myself.

One great thing I noticed is the court seems a little bigger and the players are a little thinner like Durant. Feels much better

For those who have performed ankle breakers what crossover did it happen on. Curious to see which moves work best or which don't because I've gotten 5 so far and 3 were spin and the other 2 half spin

I hear ya, but Bosh definitely "slid" out the way, then took two steps. Either way, there should have been some contact there. Now if Bosh would have side stepped as soon as Durant "powered up" (so to speak) then I could give it a pass.

only after KD leaves his feet, watch carefully... when KD is powering up, Bosh just slides, then hops (steps) back.

Look at his feet... he moved backwards, he didnt have momentum, and there is no canned animations

You guys need to really be realistic about what we've been told so far

I understand what you're saying, but Bosh got bumped and backed up, watch it again

He didn't have enough to stop a guy running at him full force

Its not an opinion..look at what happened... You want him to just jet in the air for a block when physics aren't on his side...

He was bumped back.. not suctioned, and not pulled in a directions... and his feet moved, he certainly didnt ice skate back

What was told to us again was the removing of alot of the 2 man animations that will make alot of things different that what you were used to seeing last year.

Like the intro and the production of the overall game. Just in my first game.

Quick questions: No more lead passing this year?? When you would bring up the Icons, press the right stick and be able to control where the guy your passing to cuts? I hope not
