NBA 2K13 Demo Available Now For 360 and PS3, Post Impressions Here

The NBA 2K13 demo is available now on the Marketplace for Xbox Live "GOLD" members (available next week for Silver). Most are getting it by searching for "2K13" or going to Genre ---> Sports and Recreation. You can also queue it up right here.

The PS3 demo arrives later this afternoon, we'll update this post when it's available.

UPDATE: PS3 demo is available now. If you don't see it, search for it.

The new controls take a little while to get used to, so make sure you check out the Controls trailer, we posted yesterday.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat
1 Five minute quarter
Quick Game and Online Quick Match. Can't invite friends, just random.
Can't change sliders, camera view, make substitutions or call plays
No commentary
Kinect enabled
943 MB

I did a dunk with dwayne wade but they didn't count it... that's weird.

Graphics wise... where do i begin... game needs so much help in this area.

Net physics are really bad, basically feels like the net is some kind of fluff.

Game feels a bit heavy.

Finally had 3 straight games online that were relatively smooth. I've been the Heat 9/10 games now though! I want to use Westbrook damn it.

The online in my cases were amazing, I forgot I was even playing another person! Still getting used to the controls but that moment when I crossed Thabo with Wade made all those losses worth it. haha

October 2nd can't get here fast enough.

I agree with GOFFS. Certainly feels like there is a delay between when input is given and the action is performed regarding shooting. Also feel like my player is doing a little too much movement on their own like I'm fighting for control. Learning process aside I like what I've seen and played thru about 7 games. Also love that they fixed post spin cheese from 2k12..Double tapping Y is no longer money move. Like what they have done with the charging/blocking detection as it seems more balanced than years past. Playing with Portlandblazers, mk's, and KG's rosters made me keep 2k12 around. Don't feel bad about trading it in now

Anyone else having issues getting picks to come over? I've hit LB and LT and seems like no one ever comes to set pick.

I noticed I was getting a fair amount of picks set by, (while in Triple Threat) tapping the RS towards the basket.

There was a weird moment however when I blew past Durant with Lebron and tried to dunk it X did not work, then I noticed none of the buttons were responding until I stopped running.

So i made seanannersV4(XBL) rage quit lol I guess he was upset that jacking up shots with kevin durant with LeBron right in his mug wasn't very effective. Seriously who rage quits a demo? Lmao

im waiting too looking at some new demos at came out and playing some other games till it's out.

Hopefully this demo is good..a lot of mixed reactions about it so far

2k still cant seem to get online right

online is major delay, unbelievable compared to offline
