2K Sports will be live streaming a full game of NBA 2K13 on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:00 PM EST. Check out the Oklahoma City Thunder (controlled by Ronnie2K) against the Miami Heat (controlled by LD2K). Here is the link to the live stream.
Oh baby its timeeeee, time to get the move over to the PC version of 2k13. Man the PC has everything you need & want. New faces, attire, court changes, pure white sleeves for gods sake. My 360 is done & over with and im soooo happy.....finally i found my PC wife, and its time to put a ring on her finger....done
Just remember that the defenders biting in the fakes were USER.
Yes, it is true. Anyway up and unders seem to be easy to perform by anyone (even if they are not good post players) again, and It is legit to have some doubts about its effectiveness, that's why I want to test it deeply in the Demo...

How would you counter a bounce pass. It seemed that bad ones were able to be knocked away.
Did you see any bounce pass intercepted in any of the videos showed so far? I didn't and that's why I suspect, I wouldn't like pick & roll + bounce pass to be a cheap way to gain advantange over and over again... And that's why I will test it deeply in the Demo...

Run and gun: speed matter. Plus, it was user vs user
I am an online league/assoc user, so I play user vs user basically, 2k12 was ridiculous as you couldn't use any clever or different strategy online, everyone was running & gunning and, as that was way too effective, you had to do the same in order to compete, so no simulation whatsoever... Man I know I will enjoy much more the game if it is (as it should be) a richer game strategically speaking, I mean, you should be able to compete playing your way (considering you adjust your strategy to your players and your habilities)...
Jus going by watching the video. I must say I dnt see much. I didn't really see what I wanted to see on the defensive end. Also maybe it was jus user error but I didn't see any break off animations when the defense cuts you off and rides you through the animation. Didn't really see any real speed difference. However with that said everyone says that the feel is diffferent so I will judge for myself with the demo. I'm also hoping to see more space on the offensive end, players cutting to the hole kinda worries me cause thats what messed up the spacing last yr. Now the two players from 2k that were playing were terrible, so hopefully thats all user error, since I didn't see them run any plays. But overall jus going by the vid I must say I'm unimpressed. So we shall see.

Man some of you guys are way too hard on the game. They are only given one year to improve the game. Having said that nba 2k13 looks a lot better than 2k12. what more do you want?
my thoughts
Positives-
-Animations (smooth)
-Pace(you could tell they wanted to push the ball, but the a.i. defense did a good job of getting back to a position to stop those plays. In fact the only time it really worked was when it was a guy like wade pushing the break).
-Physical play (lots of nice collisions, didnt see any warps or animations forcing guys to drive past defenders)
Negatives
-Passing (Not a lot of regular chest passes or bullet passes. Not sure if the latter is even possible. Bounce passes might be a cheese as well. Passes generally looked floaty and slow. At least they seemed more accurate)
-Defense (there were a few plays where ronnie or ld2k would play off ball defense as opposed to onball defense. I thought one of the points was to have players WANT to play ON-BALL defense more.
-Unstoppable up and under moves cheese (i utterly utterly hated them in 2k12, and i saw guards doing the same moves here.....if its a foul or basket every time then im gonna hate it)
I dont care much about accessories and stuff like that cuz they can literally change that whenever they want in the year (they talked about part of the new game systems perks are that they can now implement changes to the game and accessories seamlessly through updates, something they lacked in previous games).
Gonna have to play the demo to really see how many of the positives and negatives are real....just a few more days
alot of positives but one area that stood out the most from the vid was the new collision system crazy
and the negative part that stood out was sum of the players cyberfaces Durant, Ibaka, Wade SMH super ugly!

Yep those were the two that I hated the most. With on ball d being the most important to me.
I have no problem with people freelancing against me. I try to play like what ever team I'm playing with, I had a stretch in 2K12 were I was playing with the Warriors. I pushed it alot, even off some makes that's how they play. I would push the ball up the court if I had a look take it, if not then I ran my offense.
Being a Warriors fan is not conducive to improving overall on court basketball knowledge. lol.
After watching how the game was played in the 4th quarter, I now understand why the game was meant for casual players who force the paint instead of playing sim ball.
Now I'm getting Scared, this is the 2nd demo I've seen with multiple missed dunks, first demo was the Lakers vs. Heat, Wade missed a basic ally-oop and Kobe missed a dunk all by himself.
Please tell me uncontested dunks are in an equation of shot difficulty, if you can get up there it isn't that difficult to execute.

This can probably be easily fixed with sliders so don't worry about it.
I just love seeing the game! Hope can get one more full game video before release! Preferably before the demo!

Agreed. Blown dunks aren't very common in the NBA, kinda like broken ankles. There are maybe a dozen or two a season, and they always wind up on blooper reels and SportsCenter's Not Top 10.
I love 2K logic: contested 3's and midrange jumpers are cool, but uncontested layups and dunks? No can do. I lost count of how many dunks bounced out and layups hit the bottom of the rim in 2K12.
