Wow you guys nitpicks the smallest things lol. I don't might legit knocks on the game itself but a lot of your complaints are based on what the USERS do with the players on screen....I seen nothing that made me think anything was unfairly cheesy or unguardable...all those up and unders were legit because the person CONTROLLING THE STICKS bit on the fakes...you guys should be ecstatic that none of it was a automatic canned animation and all user error.

Yeah I have never understood their logic for removing lobbies. They said it was to prohibit leader board climbers from cheating the system by preying on the weak or playing fixed games against friends. The thing is the sim community doesn't care about the leader board so I say let them cheat. Small price to pay for having the chance to avoid the dark side by using lobbies to separate.

Right

I thought the lobbies were unranked well in 2k11 and they said that they removed the lobbies cause they didnt want experienced players picking on the newbies in the newbie rooms.

Ronnie is cool haha. He loves the trash talk - I've wanted to get more involved in the live streams and whatnot - we'll see.

The Heat is my team but seeing Lebron miss that dunk was kinda nice, you know in 2k12 that's an automatic dunk on animation guaranteed
Doesn't happen unless you try to wiggle the control stick around unnaturally, then you will lose the ball and rightfully so.

Secondly, yeah, in that moment, I was shocked LeBron missed it. That Wade dunk seemed to have a defender under Wade (hence why he Euro stepped and tried to slam it from the side iirc). But man, that one hurt.

I don't disagree ... The game is always about who is controlling the sticks. I'm just saying I would of liked to see someone playing good sound defense so I can get the feeling that sound fundamentals is the best way to score. Bc they were playing bad d, I noticed some bad offense being effective is all I'm saying

Players do sweat in 2k11, but they don't in 2k12. 2k12 has that permanent waxy, slightly sweaty sheen on players all game, where as 2k11 actually has dry-ish looking skill that progresses to shiny skin with sweat trails. It looks much more convincing than 2k12's "sweat".

That was a nice vid. Liked the new pick and roll displays.

My favorite part had to be Durant absorbing hits (and reacting to them!) as he drove for a layup before spilling into the first row behind the basket. That was nice. Makes me excited to play with players that can drive to the basket like MJ, AI, etc...

LD2K can you confirm (or not) that players sweat in 2K13? I mean really sweat like they did in 2K11.

Nope still too low ...

For some reason the game looks like 2K12 when it's user vs. user, hopefully it looks/plays better when it's user vs. cpu

Yes we saw that Ronnie was really "in the game" and excited about it.
He reacted to plays and things like that. Not a big deal

# 194 bezyslim @ 09/19/12 06:29 PM
two things i saw that i really liked:

1. A pick and roll play that ronnie pulled off in which Ibaka finished with a slam....it looked so good and fluid.

2. LD2k was hitting some nice bounce passes out there, they looked really good and i cant wait to incorporate them into my game.

all in all i am really anxious for tuesday to come along so i can play the demo....i cant freaking wait!!!

Could someone upload this to YouTube? It keeps breaking and I get Adobe flash plugin errors.

I seen a few nice bounce passes from the gameplay vids we seen of 2K13. Looks dope! Everyone who played me knows how effective my P&R game is this year, watch out cause it looks like I could actually thread the needle to the roll guy this year.

I can't believe I watched that whole game and was yelling and cheering like it was a real game. I'm no psychic, but I predict this will be the most immersive sports game this generation. I don't even need to play the demo -- I'm sold!
