This is sad -- in a thread about NCAA '13, the hype surrounds NCAA '06. I hope the CD people see these posts and remember them for their next event.
I might try out that NCAA 06 on the 360.
Does NCAA 07(Xbox 1) work on the 360?

This game needs a shot of adrenaline. The presentation is so boring and lifeless. This is college football! How do they not capture the excitement in commentary and crowd reaction? They have to do something with this game to give it some life. The pulse of the game is so average when it should be popping with excitement.
Playing with your favorite team and seeing the mascot just doesn't cut it.

I remember that part of the hype for '12 was that (paraphrasing) "smaller stadiums will wound like smaller stadiums and bigger stadiums will sound like bigger stadiums." That didn't pan out as I had hoped last year and beyond hearing drums in this clip I don't hear any improvement from last year's game.
By this time in the game's evolution they should be working on modulating crowd reactions to specific game situations (a big gain, a big loss, no gain, a questionable call, a TD that puts you ahead after being behind, etc.). To me they are more focused on the into to the game (I think they mentioned adding a 3-D effect to it) and other nonsense and are skimping on the "it's in the game" part of the gameplay.
I hope that this video is just an early iteration made to whet the lips and they will be rolling out major improvements in future videos leading up to the sale date.......if this is *it* then it looks like the consensus of the development team is that they got it right last year and just needed to add some tweaks to get people to buy the new one.

Wish the people at EA would see this...
To those that have no problems w/ the NCAA series, I'm jealous. I wish I could like/love it. The last couple years have had potential, but once you got under the hood of the game, you seen the cluster **** that it truly was.

Yep, NCAA 06 is still an absolute gem. Playmakers, I'm going to give your sliders a shot. I used Jistic's 06 set for years and they are great, too.

I want to do this as well, but the graphics are just a killer for me. What I'd give for 06' gameplay in 13's graphics. Hell, I even liked the recruiting more in 06.

I'm sure this has already been said but on that TD pass, DB for Oregon #23, he should have bought a ticket.

A more accurate statement would be: "Enough people are going to love every year of NCAA forever, regardless of its quality, to kill any reason the dev team would have to push the series to its limits."

All of those are fats, so if you have a slim PS3 don't even bother.

Maybe it's just this one gameplay video, but it looks like you can sling it all over the yard, just like in 11. If I wanted to do that, I still have my copy of Blitz 2000 for the N64. Can't they find a good balance and have a decent run game and a decent pass game, instead of having one completely overshadow the other?
