Will just echo what's been said a hundred times already.

1. Love the new defense. Playing defense is a challenge - and I'm currently not very good at it. I actually went into practice mode and practiced defending corner kicks just so I could get the hang of how physical things have become. I'm not happy that I keep losing, but I'm glad I finally have to work at defending in the game.

2. The lack of fouls is pretty absurd. I've been everything short of murdered in the box and can't get a foul call on the CPU, but a tackle that is slightly missed on my end results in a penalty. Some of that is associated with the growing pains of learning the new system, most of it is the ref code just not being up to snuff. I'm all for physical play, but fouls are too crucial to overlook and I certainly hope they are fixed in a patch. I haven't tried different leagues to see if there's a difference there in terms of foul calls, but I'm guessing not.

3. The fluidity of the game is amazing. Just love the ebb and flow. The frenetic pace to something more controlled. Finally feels like a real match.

4. LOVE that the CPU will pass backwards. Absolutely love it. The most annoying thing in '11 was the constant push forward and the CPU's ability to just shred your defense with pinpoint passing. I'm not seeing that as an issue anymore. The first backward pass by the CPU was a great moment for me.

5. The audio for the crowd is great. I like that they are intelligent enough to recognize what is happening at all times on the pitch and will give you feedback even on a good run or a nice shot on goal. Really helps bring everything to life.

Well guys.. this is the second time where a match goes intro extra time with the score tied at 2... scored a goal to make it 3-2 in the 105th minute and when i press the X to watch the replay, the game freezes! This is the xbox 360 version... 2 times in 3 days is not cool

this is one thing I really like in the other game so it's good to know Fifa has it too.

What level are you playing on? I played the demo on Pro and really didn't notice this too much.

Most definitely. Also, each team will swap keeping possession. I'll have it for a few minutes and back the AI up, then they'll do the same to me followed by some back and forth quicker play.

Do you also feel there is a difference between teams and players?

I played two games on WC so far and you can clearly tell the difference between a good and bad team.

For instance, I was Man U vs Swansea and it was easy to just shut them down. Sure, they had some possession, but no scoring opps.

To contrast, I played Liverpool vs Everton and Everton played exactly how I expected. Everton managed to keep the ball a little and made me pay on the counter and a Saha header from Baines. I managed to get into the game eventually but still lost 1-0.

BTW, the difference between how the computer plays on pro and world class is night and day.

Well, yes, but I'm also assigning teams custom team tactics.

The jump from World Class to Legendary isn't as much as I was expecting and I'm really enjoying it. The AI just seems to play smarter instead of just "cheating".

Are you using the same sliders on Legendary?

I have made it clear that a futbol game has to make me feel like I felt when I played and coached. Well, obviously it can't be duplicated. After all, its a video game. But, I want to FEEL certain things.

I've posted here that I love many aspects of FIFA but had one really nagging issue that basically makes the game unplayable. That is the fact that the cpu does not change formation and tactics as it should.

For instance, I had more than one game where i would have a 1 goal lead with under 10 minutes left to play and the cpu never changed formation, never pulled a defender to add an attacker, never even pushed the lines up, never even changed shape, showed no urgency.

Well, in fairness I'd like to say I have 3 different times been in the same situation with PES12 and had the cpu fail to do those things as well. But, I'm almost certain it did last year.

I posted over there but wanted to post here so you guys know I'm straight up no matter what the game.

Anyway, is there any chance that anything can be done to induce the cpu to get the heck out of a 4-4-2 when down a goal late? Maybe a developer can answer that. I mean, what the heck good does it to have a 4 man back line when you're down a goal?

I'm still searching

I'm playing on Pro - and when using the contain defense, maintaining control of one defender rather than swapping and chasing - I can routinely keep the opposing team in their half. They move the ball backwards quite a bit and it's refreshing to finally see it. Keeping your distance and shutting down lanes instead of applying pressure makes the all the difference in the world. There are times when I've reverted to bad habits of old (i.e., chasing and pressuring) and I've been burned and scored on every time.

What is with the slow load times on the team management in-game menu and constant signing me out of the servers? Awful.

Other than that (and lack of fouls and CPU not changing tactics) solid game.

Ok thanks. Good to know.

I have no idea how to score in this game.

I think I need to get used to shooting when I'm in the box. Get too cute.

This game is awesome when you put some passes together in the box.

I know there are a few who feel like they haven't been seeing enough tactical changes throughout a match, but I just played a great game that had me slack-jawed for some of it because of what the CPU was doing.

Played a quick game - 10 minute halves - Professional - Slow. LA Galaxy (me) vs. Portland Timbers (CPU).

I went up in the game early but then scored an own goal to tie the match for Portland. Game progressed as normal. They scored another. Kept going. Then they hit a third goal and went up 3-1. That's when things got cool.

Sensing that my defense was crap (because it was since I'm still trying to get used to the new system), Portland went on the offensive. As soon as they got the ball back after their 3rd goal, they pushed and pushed hard. Really felt like they were going for the kill shot. Once they gave up possession, they settled back in for a bit - setting up a firmer back line than they had all game.

But then they brought on another striker (giving them a total of 3) and went for it again. Again, I had to fight them off and really felt the pressure. I was able to get the ball back, held possession for a while (something I didn't do a great job of earlier in the game) and the CPU basically set up a brick wall. I had the ball, but couldn't do anything with it. They gave up a gimme goal at the end, but they had clearly won the match by that point.

Was pretty cool to see the back and forth and the on the fly changes that the CPU was making. I never adjusted my tactics as I was too busy being giddy that the CPU had done what they did.

I think the lower level teams seem to behave differently (and this has been the case in previous FIFAs as well). There's more variety in the play, more tactical things being played out. The top-ranked teams play a game of perfection which is why you see the lack of fouls, the apparent lack of tactical changes, etc. The changes may be there, but are definitely more noticeable on the lower league games I have played.

Not sure if you guys have played with or against Villa yet, but Alan Smith tells you before the game with Villa, he openly acknowledges that he is a Villa fan and will be pulling for them today.

It's pretty cool
