i had time for one game and it really did play nice and smooth. i can't say it's leaps and bounds better than 2k11, but there is a noticeable difference.

it kills me to have to play as the mavs though.

Love the demo, silky smooth...Only minor gripe, hopefully tats are tweaked in the release version because they stand out a little too well on the darker skinned players like LeBron...I notice it but honestly won't care once I'm playing

Played two games , not touching it again before I nominate a demo for sports game of the year(so far)..October 4th needs to get here

Yeah. Off ball control works the same way as 2k11.

Hold LT/L2, and hit A/X to inbound the ball.

Nope.. Not just you. How come we always get this demo later..

The post up game is very intuitive!

My only gripe is if us PC games will get the same presentation experience.

So far ripping up Miami with the Kidd vs Chalmers missmatch.

The ball arc seems more natural, as in you find yourself not knowing if it's a missed shot or going in.

I noticed that the media people behind the baskets are different in both versions. On the PS3 its empty compared to the 360 version. Will that be fixed in the final version?

thanks for understanding now if only 2k would get it one year instead of every year all the gimmicks and new features like madden I wish they would FIX GAMEPLAY FIRST !!!!!!!!!
Even with the quickest players, you're going to have to wait for his movements if it's realistic. You could get near instaneous response from Rose or Melo out of the triple threat, but realize that you can't expect them to instantly respond to every joystick input, especially if they have some momentum going and they're not in the right stride. It's always going to feel a little animated, especially if you happen to time your stick input right after you caused them to take a big stride that takes them the other direction. In the NBA, we obey the laws of physics.

Make another PS3 profile and make another PSN account but with a US location. Then you can access the US store whenever

More responsive controls? No more canimation?
yeah they didn't do either of those things. Looks like it'll be another year of 2k7 when I want to play a sim game that does what I'm inputting on my controller. Well hopefully NBA Jam On Fire will fix the AI problems... even though I'd prefer to play a sim. But fun is what matters most.
