Thanks my man! You solved my puzzle. I gotta go practice more now.

i don't think it's new, my player does that.

For those that don't thoroughly read insights the wrap up is new, and intentional fouls are the same as last year.

It's not that simple. You have to turn off menus and other elements of the game and make sure that the game doesn't crash or break because it's expecting that stuff to be there. It's not a snapshot. Then you have the fact that you have a lot of new code added to the game and you need to make sure it was done right to not break in a demo build. And, sure, this stuff gets put into the schedule. That's not the issue. The issue is that the total time is constant. Any time they add refining or expanding a demo is time away from refining the final game - which is likely the #1 priority of the company.

this game is like 2k7 and 2k11 had a baby

To me, it feels a lot like 2K11, but that's not a bad thing at all. I do like the improvements as far as the physicality of the game. Dirk is an absolute blast to play with. The big three were attacking every chance they got. Looking forward to diving in more when I get off of work.

The only thing is that the controls are just overwhelming to me. There's so much you can do, but I can't perform any of it in a game situation. Isomotion? Forget it. Post moves outside of a jump-hook and fadeaway? Forget it. I'm gonna have to spend a month in practice mode to catch up to the seasoned vets. Crazy, because I've had every single 2K basketball game.

The video quality was horrible though. I'm still dizzy after seeing that.
safe to say they will do in the same in the 4th quarter which is my issue.

The game looks much smoother watching the video than it does actually playing it.....idk maybe its just me

You are not alone, sir. What's crazy is I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to use the training mode for the post and use the gym for plays.

Guys, quick question about that walk up animation everyone was talking about during previews...

how do you do this? I don't notice anything new when I'm just walking up the court with Jason Kidd.

Holding down RT does some kind of speed burst. Did you guys mean this?

You can call it NBA2K11.5 or whatever, but it's good, very good. So many new moves you can pull of it's crazy. Iso motion is nice, you can do a spin or an around the back from a step back or hesitation. The AI will do things you never seen them do before, D-Wade will pump fake you out of your shoes.

Pull up jumpers are super smooth and the escape dribbles are so dope. With all these moves there is defense to stop them. The collisions are done very well and look realistic.

The live ball system works well, i've seen the ball hit players on the back and also seen it get loose from contact. Steals with good defenders is possible, i was able to strip Eddie House with Caron Butler for a nice dunk.

The post game is so fun to use because there's so many different fakes and ways to get your shot off. This game is going to blow you away.

the last 3 years are a very good indicator.

hell the trailer has them celebrating the same way after the MJ shot.

Sorry if me not be satisfy with players after they hit a GW do a quick celebrating and then just walk away as if it never happened makes you upset. With 2K i expect amazing detail in everything and for the most part they do a great job but this is one area they never seem to touch (not that its EXTREMLY important, but eould love to feel like i did something).

You need to feather the left stick in order to walk. You can't push it all the way to a direction, or you'll just jog.

the demo being bare bones just doesn't bother me. the game will be out in 2 weeks anyway. no reason to get upset over a demo that's only supposed to be played for 2 weeks until the real game comes out. besides, it's free...2k didn't even have to release a demo at all. just be happy they gave us a demo.

Plus 2K demos have always been like this so I'm not sure why some are surprised.

Thanks again. It works for me... but my left analog stick has lost its tightness so it's very hard to control certain moves like this. Time for a replacement I guess. Cheers.
