Does Tony Parker have some of the "hidden" floaters as well?

I really would like to know this too. Making a floater in this game is like a accomplishment. Alot of times when i tried to do a floater in 2k11 I would get sucked into someone or I would get BLOCKED.

I watch alot of basketball and I NEVER in my life seen someone block a floater after it has been released and is airborne.

@Mike

Question.. As it was not mentioned in the Dev Insight, are signature gathers out this year (Y button in 2K11)?

Personally, I think they're better gone as some of the sig gathers were unreal or rarely been done in real NBA.

I also had a hard time making floaters to the point i stop trying to use them. Its the timing thats so messed up. You cant accurately get the release point correct on floaters

I have one question and I hope It's not inappropriate for this thread.. But can we save plays, settings, rosters etc. for online play? I'm concerned because I see everything is still tied to the NBA Today feature again. Could someone please confirm. Thanks in advance.

2. yes, D. Rose has a new layup package with 6 different floaters. the standing floaters actually aren't in the manual, they're one of the "hidden" moves in the game. to get them, you have to be standing within about 12 feet of the basket... then hold the Left Stick away from the hoop when you hit the Shot Stick or Shot Button.
I would just add that Drose is NASTY. Gave me 36 I was the lakers and we couldn't stay in front of him. Adjusted layups and everything when he went to the rack. He just ran around fisher on some plays. LOL

Yes. Sig gathers as an independent move are gone. Some of the animations were moved into the escape dribble moveset... like the shamgod.

obviously some work would need to be done to the blocking system to make players "aware" of the rim so that their block animation would be limited or altered by their relation to the rim.

these issues aren't game-killers, but it would happen to me about 2 or 3 times per game in 2k11.

if it has not been addressed in 2k12, can you guys please try to work on this for 2k13?
Good post. The engineer responsible for blocking did some work on this I believe... at least with regard to goaltend violations. But yes, ensuring that blockers are aware of where they are in relation to the rim/backboard is something that we can add to the list.

I would also imagine that the timing window for disrupting moves by those poor offensive players would be much greater as well.

6-8 moves, wow thats like double the number of moves I get down.
