One more thing that is an eye sore is the camera view when running, it seems to zoom in and out like 3 times by the time you get the ball it is starting to give me a headache.

Has anyone played with the zoomed camera in the actual game? Does it zoom in and out like this?

Running the ball on All-Madden, with the Packers at least, is pretty easy as well.

The running game still needs some work. Either you get stone-walled at the LOS, or you easily get to the 2nd level, and/or fall forward for 4-5 yards. It just doesn't feel right.

The game overall, is the first EA football title where I can say that they've made an honest effort to produce a solid simulation product. Between NCAA and Madden, this is the first game that I've seen from them that actually feels like a game of football.

It's not perfect, the blocking AI is still bad and glitched, but the game itself is finally a step in the right direction. I think I'll definitely purchase this to go along with APF, buutt, tuner sets do worry me.

Ok, well the issue with threshold lower than 50 in NCAA was it made the slants route money cuz the LBs were way too slow to cover anyone even slow WRs...that may be the issue here as well...

just ran the opening kick back odogg lol the crowd exploded that was pretty amazing but i do the same thing in college idk y the cpu doesnt tackle me maybe its that damn locomotion they started last year

passing is a lot easier for me in the demo than in ncaa

but a total of 6 fumbles for both teams combine in a game is kinda dumb

also my de doesnt fall down every play like in ncaa

CPU AI is definitely stupid in the demo build. I was up 17-14 in the 4th then I punted to the bears and they drove down the field to the 1 yard line with a minute and a half left and they called 3 passing plays in a row in which all were incomplete and had to kick a fg to tie the game with a minute left on the clock.

I hope that this is a problem that is in the demo only for those that play against the cpu.

Unfortunately, if you change sliders, it changes the difficulty to All Pro. The only ones that stick no matter what are changes made to the CPU sliders. Gonna play a game with Reaction time for the CPU AI at 40 for both pass and rush defense and see how it plays.

Didn't notice this, good find. Please let us know how this works for you.

To me I feel the running game is hindered because the defense only comes out in basically one formation every time you run. I play as the bears and every time I run the packers come out in a formation with 2 linebackers on each edge looking like they are going to blitz. I play on All Pro.

My only complaint so far is that the players feel weightless. Very fast and the hits don't feel as vicious. The "big hits" are just normal tackles with the ball carrier flying 10 yards away almost like a flop.

I do like the new angle or view when on offense. It's lower so you can read blocks better when running the ball. It is much easier running the ball now. Don't know if this is a good or bad thing yet.

All in all, I'm sold. I feel this is a legit improvement by EA. The presentation is great. Really feels like an NFL on Fox broadcast.

The game looks great! This build is much more beautiful than the E3 demo (the grass and particles looked a little glitchy to me back then). Not so on this demo.

However, I've gotta say I don't like the gameplay camera angle. Maybe I'm just used to NCAA12 but Madden12's camera feels like it's a little too high and using a lens that's just a little too wide.

Other than that I'm pleased. It's a big leap from M11. Gotta get that commentary up to modern standards, though!

I need you to tutor me cuz I never usually run kicks back!

With NCAA I felt like I needed to go down a difficulty level from AA to Varsity...but the more I play this demo the more I think I may need to go to All-Madden...odd

Well, it does seem as though the blocking is a lot better, I am stillseing a little bit of suction blocking. It's not nearly as bad as prior, but I still saw some of it. I also saw a blocked field goal! In 20 years of playing football games, I can count the number of blocked field goals I've seen on one hand. I hope it wasn't an abberation and I'll actually see more of it in the full game.

Also, I am crazy, or can you not view stats in the demo?

Note to EA: Aaron Rodgers is not Michael Vick when it comes to running...WTF??

I've played 6-7 games on the PS3 so far. I must say I actually like the demo. It's not perfect but it actually plays a good game. I went 3-3 on all pro and 0-1 on all-madden. I didn't notice the super lb or psychic dbs, I didn't feel cheated at any point.

A few concerns tho, (forgive me if they have been mentioned) all-pro running game does seem a little too easy. I ran hb slam out of gb's full house formation and went over 150 yrds wtih Grant, added another +40 yrd run with Starks and Jackson both. The cpu could not stop it.

I had a extra point blocked which I thought was pretty cool cause I have never seen that in Madden, but the guy who blocked it came in off the edge, that's almost impossible on an xp. I hope it's not over done as EA tends to do.

3rd and 4-6 yards was almost always the same play by the cpu. Passing play but the qb would scramble up the middle. Became very predictable. Chicago tried it on 3 straight 3rd down attempts in one of the games.

Overall the game has its problems but it's fun to play. I haven't been able to say that about any other nexgen madden. Now I just pray a tuner set doesn't change my mind.

Anyone else notice how much better the 360 version looks compared to the PS3 version?
