4. Players talk a lot, which is great.

5. I like how players argue with refs over calls. Jennings caught a TD pass but the ref said he was out of bounds. Jennings got in the ref face arguing his point of view saying he caught it in bounds, doing the whole arm movements and everything.

6. Zone coverage is very good, even against 4 verticals.

7. DEs actually pass rush and get after the QB.

8. Runners use ALL of their special moves.

9. When the QB scramble, they actually run with a purpose and try to get a TD. And NOT slide after 3 yards like they do so much in NCAA 12. Scrambling QBs also use ALL of their special moves while running, something that they don't do in NCAA 12.

Over all I can't understand how Madden 12 is so much better then NCAA 12 when they are made in the same building. It is like a night and day difference in game play, presentation, sound and graphics.

Some of these facial animations are down right eerie looking how life like it looks.
That is the 1st thing that jumped out to me was the awareness of Rogers....

I think DPP is going to be awesome this year for the game.....when i saw Rogers take off like 2-3 times without hesitation it made me really mad at the NCAA crew.....

I'm on the same boat as you this is the same company how come we can't get our beloved NCAA 12 to be like Madden 12

havent really noticed super LB, actually just hit a pass up the middle where the LB had his back turned, no magic eyes in the back of the head.

I think 1 thing that reduces Super LBs is the ability to decrease Defensive reaction. I seen slower reactions to passes and rushes.

Just saw something very cool. Rodgers (CPU) threw a deep ball to Jordy Nelson..who then ran onto it..i managed to chase him down, and strip the ball out on my own one yard line. Briggs recovered it and then Nelson just lay there with his hands on his head, motionless for about 5 seconds. The camera just cut to him and it looked so awesome! I wasn't able to capture it live obviously but his animation is in the replay, check it out. The little things make all the difference.

Jay Cutler runs like he is Vick. His speed is wayy too high

Pro. I also played it on all pro and was still able to hit some big pass plays and run the ball effectively but also threw 2 picks to super lb urlacher lol.

Gameplay wise, I think with a good slider set this year Madden is really going to be a blast with all the new presentation features.

-Running feels realer

Things I dislike:
-Special teams are a disaster. No blocking, no lanes, no realism.
-Defenders don't jostle for the ball. I don't know if this is accounted for in traits, but what defender stands in front of a receiver (not running), waits for him to catch it then tackles him?

-Poor playcalling. If they really wanted to speed up games, they'd fix gameflow. At this point Gameflow loses you games, end of story.
-It's dumb to play this game on All-Pro or higher. The game knows which play you call and the only way to really move the ball is to audible every play, which just takes the fun out of it. If I run 3 plays in a row for significant gains, I should get them to bite on a PA pass. But they know the playcall before I line up.

That's all for now.
Thats pretty it for me too. These flaws are just too glaring and can't believe its even in the game. I'm buying tho hoping these get fixed.

After playing a few more games in the demo, I am starting to actually like it more now. Not sure why. I can live with a few of the glitches as they aren't exactly gamebreaking.

Rogers broke a 35 yard scramble on me. He was juking, spinning and stiff arming his way down the field. Then afterwards that S.O.B got off the ground and celebrated. I was like WTF......no he didn't just show boat on me after that awesome scramble.

So far out of all the QB scrambles in this demo, I haven't seen them slide yet, which is a GOOD thing. They go after it and TRY to get a TD with EVERY scramble.

Way too many times in NCAA 12 QB will slide way before anybody is even close to them.

I like the over throws and the WR reaction of where the hell were you throwing to. It cracks me up.

Punt returns and kick return blocking needs to be improved on both sides though. Nobody gets more then 5 yards a return.

But DPP is the REAL DEAL.

I got after Cutler one game with some sacks, dude got happy feet & was running quick. Then when he was throwing he was missing people because he was forcing it a lot more, accuracy was way off.

When I made Forte fumble, his whole running style changed and he was covering up the ball with 2 hands. I was like damnnnnnnnnnnn that is awesome.

Kind of don't want to play NCAA 12 anymore now.

I've played a couple of games so far and I am actually fairly pleased with the demo, I couldn't say the same for the NCAA demo I couldn't get into it. But with Madden it plays fairly well from what I was expecting.

Still unsure if I will buy Madden especially after the issues with NCAA, but I think I will play this demo a lot over the next week.

Before I get to my pros and cons I have to say this game, to me, "feels" like a game of football. This demo is without question LIGHT YEARS ahead of the NCAA retail build. I am glad I have NCAA to trade in for $30 credit should I decide to get M12. Is it a day one purchase? Not for me. I have learned my lesson from EA and even though this demo is remarkable I will wait a few weeks before "green lighting" a purchase. Now, on to the pro & cons.

PROS:

*Suction blocking? Almost non existent, on a few occasions I just powered through blockers using Julius Peppers (even pushing a FB all the way back to Rodgers, nice look and feel) without having the worry of being sucked into a OL block animation.

*Graphics/Presentation. Game is stunning and the Presentation is something that I have never seen in a Madden Game. Field/Jersey degradation, Paint/Dirt on helmets and players skin looks fantastic.

*Tackling and Zone coverage is much improved.

*No super LBs that I saw

*DPP is awesome, got to Ryan Grant early and he got the "doesnt fight for extra yards tag". Nice touch I attacked him early and he never seemed to get going.

*Kicking meter is nice. I dont understand why so many are bothered by it. The kicking camera is also very sleek and looks like a real telecast.

Cons:

*The amount of Big Hits is overdone and actually kind of phony.

*Physic DBs are unfortunately here, but this always been in Madden.

*D-Pad strategy pad is clunky and slow (this can be changed however).

*Player "floating" is kind of cheap, not stopping and cutting on dimes, but guys just seem weightless sometimes.

I cant think of anything that is "wrong" with the game. Barring an unforeseen tragedy in the retail build, this game has the potential to be one of, if not the best Madden we have ever seen. EA really did a great job.

game looks fantastic. This is the best madden game as far as presentation goes. I like how everything is different when you play a new game. 9/10 from me. Now if only they had worked on the commentary that's the only reason for me not giving a 10/10.
