Something I just saw for the second time:
The computer is inside my 5 with more than 30 seconds left and runs up to the line and downs the ball to stop the clock.
I just threw for 400 yards against FSU on Heisman. 14-25 for 419 and 4 Tds. The Zone D is better but there were several busted coverages.
Ive seen a couple fumbles in 3 games. 1 striped in 1 game. My current game I laid a big hit on the PR and he coughed it up, the next fumble came as I led my WR across the middle. I'm pretty sure he got up cussing.

Just played a Heisman game with me being Oregon and late in the game I busted a 40 yarder with LMJ down to the 3 yd line and on the next play I ran it in with him. Then on the next drive I got the ball back by an INT and Darron Thomas broke a read option 22 yards to the house. Both looked and felt great.
Now my only gripes with the demo (which I am positive most are going to be fixed with the retail version) are:
1. I am seeing what everyone is talking about with the cpu qb (I really only see it with texas' qb) is him a. not scrambling and b. throwing the ball out of bounds into the 6th row a few times a game. I am sure those 2 things are fixed in the final game.
2. In the game I was talking about above, the texas qb threw deep a good 8 or 9 out of 15 passes. IDK whats up with that but its only 1 game so I am not saying its a problem yet.
3. Kick/Punt Returns. The coverage teams all stay in the middle of the field and on punt returns your blockers wait like 2 yards infront of you for you to catch the ball to start blocking, which in turn gives me no room/time to run. Every return is the same. They need to stay in their lanes in order to get better and more varied returns.
4. Player Movement. Sometimes when I change direction with the left stick the player kind of just floats over into position. Hard to explain but its like the runner has his knees slightly bent and instead of cutting, he just stays in that "knees bent" position and "shifts" to his new spot. Weird looking.
5. Last but not least..THE GRASS! Call me a nitpicker, I dont care, it looks bad. Go look at Backbreakers grass and that is what a field should look like. No black spots everywhere just green grass. Turf fields are different they are supposed to have black in them because of the rubber pellots but I believe Madden does a better job at this than NCAA (for turf). It has become a distraction for me to look at the grass which is a shame.
THAT IS ALL!
Grass looks great during cutaways and during the pregame. It does not look so great during game play.
i'm download ps3 demo and try it. to see if it really is horrible than xbox version
i am playing on hdtv with 1080p also with some pretty good hdmi cords. the best monster hdmi cables you can find for around 100-120.
I have a $25 HDMI cord and my demo looks fine to me, but then i havent seen the xbox either so.....i dont know. As long as it looks good to me im perfectly fine with it.
Oh a glitch I just remembered. Playing as Oregon vs. Texas. Texas completes a pass but fumbles. I recover and call an offensive play. The refs review the play and overturn the fumble to Texas has the ball back. They go straight into a hurry up out of the review and my offense was on the field playing defense. The Oregon C was playing FS for me. Turns out my LT, playing the nickel position I believe, knocked down a pass to end the game.
I would like to reiterate that the the issue people are having shouldnt be that the game looks bad on PS3. It doesnt. It looks fine.
The issue is it looks noticably better on the 360, enough so to where I wish my roommate didnt have a 360 so I never would have seen it because now its all I notice
Throwing for 400 yard on heisman is nuts, lol, yeah passing can be easy at times but I find on heisman its still pretty tough in most matchups

400 yards on Haumiller's FSU Noles? On Heisman? Something doesnt add up here.
I have the PS3 version. Just played as Oregon and beat Texas 14-9 on AA settings. My play of the game was a 77 yard TD run by LMJ from a shotgun draw. A little disappointed in the entrances and the overall stadium sound. There just seems to be too much dead time during the entrances, which sucks because the entrances are supposed to be getting you fired up. I don't know if it's the camera angles they use or what, but they just aren't exciting to me. I'll be muting the commentary from Game 1 as it's the same ole, same ole. The game does seem to play a little better than 11 with the new improved zone D and tackling, so that's a plus.
I did have something strange happen. It was 1 minute left in the 3rd and I had Oregon on the 10 yard line about to score. Texas calls a timeout. I was thinking this is cool that the CPU will now just randomly call a timeout in order to compose themselves or whatever. However, after my next play, they called another TO and then their 3rd TO after the 3rd play. The CPU was acting like there was under 1 minute in the half or game, while it was only the 3rd quarter. I'm sure this is just a glitch in the demo, but it was pretty strange.

I'm sure when you add your own music to the entrance it will make it a lot more exciting.
Tied 7-7 with Bama at FSU with about 45 seconds left. I'm on their 35 and they cut to the sideline to see the kicker warming up. The kicker is Dont'a Hightower.
After playing my 6th game, the tackling is growing on me. I really like it. I made a shoe-string tackle to save a touchdown. It was nice and very lucky.
I will say that the game does not look terrible on Ps3. The player models look pretty good. However, the grass does not look good at all.
Oregon is a beast. I only stopped them once. I scored late to win 27-21. They ran a very nice play action pass that ended up as a 40 yard TD. Their offense seemed very realistic...very similar to real life.
I'm finding it very easy to pass over the top so far. My receiver made a nice grab on the sideline and tip-toed his way into the endzone instead of falling out of bounds. Not sure if that was in last year's game or not. I'm more of an option guy so forgive me if that was in last year's game.

Us PS3 users got SHAFTED in the graphics department. After playing the demo on the PS3 and Xbox I can say it's a night and day difference in graphics. If the PS3 retail version looks this bad i'll definitely be switching my pre-order over to 360.
Man I was not expecting that much of a difference but whoa..
Some insomniac demo playing at the moment. Was playing as Texas, had my guy waiting to field the kick off. He must of been distracted by a butterfly or something, the ball comes in and smacks him right in the face/goes through him into the end zone.
I just found a glitch. After halftime it showed a "game tracks" and all the players were invisible......you could just see the ball
Another thing that was annoying.....on replays of a long pass the ball is spinning one way and then it starts spinning the other direction and then back again. I don't really care but just thought it looked dumb.
