Can't depth chart as usual (i think?) in the demo.

Sweet display of zone D by my safety on a long pick. Gilbert still sucks lol.

I'd be totally happy if they rode Gilbert until the wheels fell off.

Good news. Gilbert just scrambled for the first on third and long!

Screens are also getting blown up for me as well

Small sample size, so don't get too worried, but i'm abandoning the PA for now. 4 tries 2 sacks 1 hit as i throw.

I'm loving the tackling very much right now. The 3D grass looks very good as well.

I hate the fact that im using Oregon too :-( boooo, LOL

The lack of suction tackles really helps their appearance. Just looks so much smoother

It does feel a lot better than it looked in the vids. You know, besides when #9 on texas breaks both of my DBs ankles on the juke move.

Hey, Erin Andrews is breaking down some stuff after the half. Only a small 15 second thing, but it did feature some first half highlights.

I'd agree with that. It's not a whole new game but it definitely feels fresh and improved.

Yep, it definitely feels enough different that you can tell its a new year at least. The suction tackling was my biggest complaint. I have to say, coming off the end with the DE getting disengaged from the OT and not just be warped into his path felt great.

No depth chart editing in the demo I'm afraid

I can now call running plays out of shotgun! Yay!

Do Not try that late pitch on the option on here. It hit my RB in the ankle and it wasn't even a long pitch.

Texas just scored on me with the option as well. QB read the LB correctly coming around the edge.

They even made the QB not do the duck down then slide animation anymore.

Ugh, psychic DBs are back....

Plays a lot smoother than it seemed to in videos, but color me unimpressed with the "3D grass". In normal gameplay it looks exactly the same. Only time I can tell a difference is with cutscenes or replays

I gotta get to work but here are my impressions after two games, one as Oregon one as Bama:

Pros:
Zone D looked good, along with tackling.
Lack of suction helps the run game i think (cpu and human).
Cpu D wasn't giving anything away.
I got burned by the run.
Cpu QB took off for the first a couple times!

Cons:
My screen passes were getting BLOWN UP.
I did see the psychic db in man coverage.
Pa was a mixed bag but my results were bad enough to scare me away from it.

Yeah, it has to be at a close angle or else its not there.

FSU QB just threw the ball away instead of forcing it on a pass.

I agree with both of these. I also agree that the "3D" grass looks the same during gameplay.

As I posted earlier, psychic DBs are back. I have called 100% pass plays so that I can study the DBs. Based on the demo build psychic DBs are going to ruin man coverage in 12 like they did in 11.

How is this possible when it was one of, if not the, biggest issues in NCAA 11?
