The guys that posted videos of themselves playing the game at E3 said that it feels a lot better than it looks. Like the videos werent telling the whole story.
I'd agree with that. It's not a whole new game but it definitely feels fresh and improved.

Yep, it definitely feels enough different that you can tell its a new year at least. The suction tackling was my biggest complaint. I have to say, coming off the end with the DE getting disengaged from the OT and not just be warped into his path felt great.
Plays a lot smoother than it seemed to in videos, but color me unimpressed with the "3D grass". In normal gameplay it looks exactly the same. Only time I can tell a difference is with cutscenes or replays
I gotta get to work but here are my impressions after two games, one as Oregon one as Bama:
Pros:
Zone D looked good, along with tackling.
Lack of suction helps the run game i think (cpu and human).
Cpu D wasn't giving anything away.
I got burned by the run.
Cpu QB took off for the first a couple times!
Cons:
My screen passes were getting BLOWN UP.
I did see the psychic db in man coverage.
Pa was a mixed bag but my results were bad enough to scare me away from it.

Yeah, it has to be at a close angle or else its not there.
FSU QB just threw the ball away instead of forcing it on a pass.

I agree with both of these. I also agree that the "3D" grass looks the same during gameplay.
As I posted earlier, psychic DBs are back. I have called 100% pass plays so that I can study the DBs. Based on the demo build psychic DBs are going to ruin man coverage in 12 like they did in 11.
How is this possible when it was one of, if not the, biggest issues in NCAA 11?
