Overall, the demo is very good in terms of gameplay except for the physic DB's. When you guys play as Alabama on the road at Florida State, does it feel to you like FSU actually has home-field advantage? I ask this because I'm tied at halftime with them on varsity at 0-0.

No psychic dbs for me but I did see a couple super swats from the lbs. Game flows much better now as well. I felt like I was getting too much pressure and sacks against the qb. Running out of shotgun was possible for me which is a plus since that is my most used set. Kick returners and backs who get picks in the endzone wil take a knee right away which is a huge plus for me.

I've been sacked by the right side of the line more than the left.

Not for me, was up 14-0 at halftime. Although they did seem to play much better in the second half. On heisman

I agree that the psychic DB's is a huge issue that they should try to fix and if they can do it in a patch....damn!!!! this game will have great gameplay with the right slider set.

A great thing that I have noticed is that the linebackers don't seem to be jumping 20 feet in the air to bat down a pass. I just threw a crossing route to my TE over the middle and in NCAA 11 the LB would have jumped way too high and swatted it down but this game seems to respect gravity. Nice!

i have no gripes yet . i played as oregon on all american . running game is alot of fun , the screen game actually has offensive lineman attacking defenders and i didnt have "psychic dbs" problem

I'm getting sacks, but its because Gilbert is staying in the pocket way too long.

No CPU awareness by the QB near their own endzone. Didnt even try and scramble out to avoid the safety.

The way the players move is almost a game killer for me. Its so bad still. Player can cut on a dime like its nothing. still going full speed making 90degree cuts.

what?

I love football too much to not buy the game

Run commit or run blitz, learn it, loveit because my DL did not make one tackle on a running play in 2 games. Also no super jumping dl or lb, I didn't see the psychic DB, I got blew up on play action 2 out of 2 times, passing is smooth, their Dline is getting pressure.

Qb play is much improved, i saw 2 scrambles in a game, the QB also threw on the run as well........

game seems ok but i cant play it anymore unless they add the zoom cam, this old school cam is terrible IMO

Defiantly liking/loving certain aspects of the demo, but the qb option logic for the CPU still seems to be really lacking. Saw two instances on options playing against Oregon where Thomas had a wide open lane in front to run for a 10-15 yard gain, and for no apparent reason flips it back to James with a LB on him like a blanket. Ball missed James both times, and I recovered them. This was on Heisman. The other problem is see is the read option is still getting blown pretty frequently.

Not to encouraged by what I am seeing out of Oregon when the CPU is controlling them, to make me think that CPU spread offenses will be any more effective than last year. Have held them to 3 points on Heisman so far in 3 games.

Edit: Ok just saw Thomas on a read option, have a ton of space in front of him and for some odd reason he stopped instead of hitting the hole, than ran sideways and lost 5 yards on a play that should have been a big gainer for the CPU. That play was some pretty bad CPU QB running logic/decision making.

Anyone having luck seeing the CPU run the ball? The CPU still can't run the zone read, Oregon sucks at shotgun running even though they are amazing in real life. Very disappointing. Hope they can tune this.

First off, I am loving the demo. It has a great feel to it. First thing that stands out is the tackling and RB logic for the CPU (not the QB - haven't played Oregon yet).

Oregon vs Texas out of the gate and I am digging this game. I am happy they made my favorite NCAA game (NCAA 11) even better. Texas' O-Line was moving some bodies on the first drive and marched downfield on 13 plays. A couple of overthrows by CPU Gilbert too. Even short-armed a HB screen.

Playbooks are nice too and has a clean coat of "polish" to them.

If u click on rb to sim and select watch next play u can view the game with the broadcast camera, in doing this while playing @ fsu, the logo was upside down, , but the game looks nice in that view.

I agree about the tackling and RB logic being much improved. The only thing that is bugging me is the QB running logic on designed runs, everything else seems to be very good. Unfortunately that is such a big part of an offense like Oregon's being dangerous.

Something else I am really liking though is the pass rush, I was concerned about it watching the videos, but it is pretty fierce on both sides. If anything it is a bit too strong, which is a great change form where it was on default settings the last couple of years.

I am enjoying the demo, but the computer on AA has not played smart. Passing on 3rd and short, and kicking a 50 yard fg and missing way short.

Well, I guess I can't blame them for passing on 3rd and short because CPU shotgun running would result in a loss anyway lol This really needs to be fixed!

QBs are scrambling, I couldn't believe it!

I like that I cannot abuse screen plays like last year.

Tackling looks and feels good!

I will try heisman now. Really enjoying it but CPU running and CPU "football smarts" need to be looked at. Only played 2 games so far, just pointing out observations.

Youtube videos and the demo are 2 different things when I comes to presentation. This game looks nice.

The gameplay is a lot more fluid. Here are things I noticed about gameplay.

+ I can't do the miracle last second pitches anymore.
+ They finally have untimed downs
+ LB's don't jump like they're on the moon to bat down passes anymore
+ Loving the tackles. Smooth interactions between the bc and the tackler
+ CPU QB AI is much better at moving around.
+ Run blocking is way better at both levels, not just at the LOS like last year.
+ I see more double team blocks now. Nice.
+ Acceleration is a lot better than last year
- Agility isn't
- Zone defender slides around faster than in real life
- DB's still have trouble catching easy picks thrown right at them.

Looks like the most solid NCAA of this gen. Nice job guys

As I posted earlier, psychic DBs are back. I have called 100% pass plays so that I can study the DBs. Based on the demo build psychic DBs are going to ruin man coverage in 12 like they did in 11.

How is this possible when it was one of, if not the, biggest issues in NCAA 11?
havent seen any psychic DB's. ive had corners bite on double moves. nothing psychic yey

Appears to be no more superman jumping linebackers! (so far)

The menus and menu music are different in the front end... And they ROCK!
