Took me at least a quarter to figure it out. I thought play selection was incredibly slow until I noticed it was changing formations. Didn't use it but it looked like the recent plays was an option again though.

Me: Oregon
Cpu: Texas

5 games AA.

My Offense:
1. You can run out of the spread.
2. Seems like you need to pitch earlier on option plays. Option seems less effective.
3. Designated QB runs and draws are effective.
4. Screens/ slip screens/ and WR screens/bubbles work.
5. Good job with inaccurate passes/incompletions.
6. Not seeing Psychic DBs. Read the D, find the open man or open spot in zone.
7. Deep ball not automatic.

Cpu Offense:
1. Can run from single back sets. No big gains but, effective.
2. No QB scrambles yet. No runs out of shotgun (that I remember).
3. Will throw deep. Beat me on a pretty deep ball.
4. Throws a lot of picks. Cpu QB seems confused when you audible to a zone.
5. QB pretty nimble in pocket. Avoiding sacks, breaking tackles.
6. No quick throws right before a sack. No crazy spin throws.

My Defense:
1. Lot of pressure/sacks with or without blitzing or setting D-line to aggressive.
2. Coverage sacks. Pressure from both ends.
3. Will jump offsides if d-line set to aggressive.
4. CBs pretty aggressive going for picks in man or zone.
5. I like the tackle button especially when going for a sack.

Cpu defense:
1. Still blitz CBs too much.
2. CBs very aggressive vs. outside runs. In the backfield a little too quickly imo.
3. Zone D is good. Realistic.
4. Pass rush is effective.

Weird cut scene. Texas is driving into field goal range and they cut to LaMichael James warming up kicking into the net.

While not a huge leap from 11, still very solid.

after a hour and a half of DL i got and i got a few things.
Pro's -
The Coverage - Zone works now (Thank you baby jesus) although they slide around to fast, Man coverage i thought was gonna be broken but nope still works.

Tackles - I LOVE the new tackling system now i dont throw my controller when the ball carrier breaks a tackle my other guys just stand like sleeping cows.

Running from Shotgun - Somewhat better but still bad IMO still to slow on the Read Options and whatnot.

Con's -
The damn D-Line knowing when to jump to swat the ball down is still there and its not like one of them doing it still all at the same time.

Doofus WR and DB who just watch the ball fly right above there heads and drop a easy pick

Hail Mary Trips Right (I believe) is some what glitched cause i ran it 4 times (twice as Bama and once as Org and FSU) and it seemed the Inside WR would always get behind coverage for a easy TD

I'm not sure if this is something that will show up in the demo, but has anyone seen stat overlays?

I am noticing that most any seam route is money when it comes to the WR getting open.....for the upteenth year in a row

GOOD MORNING SIR! Are u saying that dl men are playing "gap assignments" and/or playing the "point" opening holes for the lber's?

Oh and for all of your Field Degradation Fanatics.....it's looks glorious!

# 68 Watson @ 06/28/11 10:00 AM
just saw the DB tackle the WR after a go route, and the WR actually slid instead of just sticking to the turf like in NCAA 11

Stat overlay time!

A.J. McCarron aka QB#10 with 9/17 for 107 yards. We are in overrrrrrrrrrrrtime.

Need to fix the animation of the ball releasing from the QB's hand. Sometimes it's off.

How do you wrap tackle? Is it the same button as the dive button?

Took a webcam video for all the PS3 guys who don't have the demo yet. Shows the spread offense pretty well. Specifically, it shows my favorite formation so far: Wing Offset Weak w/ the HB Wideout package. Sorry for the video quality.

Darron Thomas feels like I'm just watching Darron Thomas. So fluid. I hope other "scrambling" QB's feel like this

unfortunately Robo-QB still sees to exist.

Can't wait to play this tonight, I am jealous of you 360 users. Probably a good thing it does not release until evening since I have class all day.

Good post Bootzilla.

This bolded part really stood out to me but I wasn't for sure if anyone else saw it. I was Texas vs. CPU Oregon. Less than a minute left, tie game 7-7 with me driving around mid-field. They show a cut scene of Oregon #54 kicking the ball into the net on the sideline. Confused is the best way for me to describe how I felt at the moment.

Very much so! Definitely going to take some adjusting for me. By the end of the game I was still consciously adjusting moving through the playcall screen.

Burned me a couple times vs the no huddle where I'm trying to select a play in the Dime formation by pressing right on the d-pad only to move over to 4-3

I did not notice this when playing.

CPU Darron Thomas just bolted for a 57 yard TD run. WOW!

As he crossed the goal line, he flipped the ball over his head and start shaking his hands in the air almost waving to the crowd. What a run. I still can't believe it.

Sweet, I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble with the playcalling scroll being different.

By the way, just out of curiosity and since I'm new here, I've noticed tons of people with NCAA pics and fandom. Just wondering how many other people graduated from the school that they are fans of on here (I got my undergrad from UK).
