Basically what you are telling me is that since man can't stop it in this game, and now even the new zone can't stop it, it is just an unstoppable play. Are you serious?

The defender is in zone coverage INSIDE shade of the slot the WHOLE play and the slot breaks his route INSIDE, right into the zone, and its still a completion. I know this is most peoples' whole offense in NCAA 11 but come on

I don't analyze games piece by piece, or at least not all of the time . That said, I kinda liked what I saw. The ball trajectory looks improved and I think the tackles look awesome. I'm not even an NCAA fan, and will likely pass on this game. But it sets up well for Madden in combo with their anticpated presentation.

Excellent choice of pic btw.

ODOGG and Co. got their dreads and they should be happy, words of advice, just suck it up please.

I didnt have any complaints except for the Greg guy. He wasnt playing to explore the game he was just playing like a 6 yr old. But overall I liked how the D was playing on All-American tho, I want to see what kind of boost it gives the cpu when on Heisman.

That live gameplay shouldnt bother ppl too much bc of what went on during it, the real do or die for this game and its value will be when they release Dynasty and RTG n Online info.

Yeah, I agree, in my honest opinion Greg was a terrible spokes-model

the grass looked good. i like that they have diff sponsers the sparq and coke zero. cant comment on gameplay without playing it myself but the look is nice imo and the end of the qt is a nice touch. i have to say the dreads look bad but atleast they are there and they should of went with shorter ones

So if you think about it....if a player in real life has dreads, having a player on the game with longer dreads than what he has in real life is a lot closer to realistic than having the guy with no dreads/shaved head like NCAA games in the past.

Some people will never be satisfied.

i just watched again in the 3rd vid he asked him to show game improvement and that idiot said he was tryna win a 1 qt game he should never be able to do this again just play the cpu next time

I think the reason everybody is complaining about the game still looking like NCAA 11 is because even though they improve the graphics it doesn't show during actual gameplay. Until they improve the players models drastically it will always look like the pervious year despite the actual graphic upgrades.

Yah it probably wouldn't be as bad if EA didn't hype up "presentation improvements" and only really add entrances and some end of quarter stuff, or hype "no more suction blocking" and still have some. I guess it don't matter as we will always complain and always expect more, which is the power of the consumer. Except I am powerless as I will always buy it unless a competitor passes it up (like NBA2K passed up NBA Live).

All the pre-game looks new (for the most part, there were some recycled angles and cuts). Outside of that, the actual in-game presentation seemed identical to me, which is where the meat of the improvements should have been made. The gameplay looks improved, but the problem for me personally is my eyes focus on all the weird animations, and there are plenty of them. That said, it didn't surprise me. It is only one game though and still possibly pre-beta so it is difficult to fairly judge the content.

As I said before, I'm waiting to hear on any improvements to Dynasty. If nothing substantial has been done, which is probably more likely than not, I'll just pass again. I don't have a problem with the developers--they do good things and are trying to improve the game with what they have. That said, the engine is really flawed and needs an overhaul, and I would also be a fan of a two-year developmental cycle instead of one. So my only gripes are with EA and the foundation of the game.

For all those saying it looks like '11 too much, what do you expect? That's what happens when you have a year to do a "new" game. You have to recycle the core of the game over and over because there isn't time to fix it AND make all kinds of other additions.

I think for a lot of people once the "wow" factor dissipated from the early information on pre-game cinematics, that excitement faded into skepticism as to how the game actually separates itself from '11. Hopefully some information about Dynasty will prove me wrong to temper my own excitement.

Ehhh. Even with all the great announcements, EA has a long way to go.

One small thing... why is the defense still huddling 5 yards off the ball then shuffling to their positions? Looks terrible.

As for the major stuff...

-Looks like contain AI is still absent.
-Alignment is still a problem. The defense was out flanked on a few plays.
-Even with the tackle improvements, I still see defenders avoiding tackles in progress.
-Still no engaged player lateral mobility.
-DEs still too slow on the upfield pass rush. And that little loop to the outside waste even more time. But I'm glad to see DEs at least getting up field.
-The footwork is still pretty bad. The skating & sliding not only looks bad, but it allows players to move around too quickly.
-Still no double team on the gunners on punts.
-And please get rid of the kicking meter next year. Why not let us time kicker's approach & leg swing similar to the way NBA 2K does freethrows?

As for improvements, the tackles look better. The 2nd defender in has some effect. And the tackles have more force & effort.

Outside of that, I didn't see much difference from last year.

I was really impress with all the improvements they were talking about.. but after watching this video, from gameplay perspective, i feel it was almost the same game

I can't blame you or anybody else for feeling that way. I truly feel like some of the gameplay improvements shine in the video but the bottom line is until we get our hands on the demo, there is no way to really know

i just cant get passed the running and the lack of momentum with each and every player..i mean is this just something they cant fix..please i need to know so i wont be wishing for it every year. players r sliding and gliding turning up the field way to fast changing directions on a dime. This game will never look realistic to me unless they do something about this.

It wont be fixed until next gen. The engine obviously limits them from being able to change player movement and momentum at this point. There will not be a new engine this gen. I know some people hold out hope every year that there will be.

I think this is why a lot of people are so disappointed every year because they expect wholesale changes to core gameplay. This will not happen this gen. The engine just isn't dynamic enough.

So just go with it. Each year, they will try their best to improve on what they have. They can't just radically change the entire engine in one gaming cycle.
Because no one cares about their effort or how hard they try. It's a results orientated situation, all that matters is how well the game plays. Excuses don't matter either, they made the engine...so I'm not going to sit there and say "oh well the engine is bad nothing they can do."

Also you always hear about the progression they're making, "heading in the right direction" or what they'll be able to do next gen. We're already talking about what NCAA 13 and beyond are gonna be like and NCAA 12 isn't even out yet.

I can't speak for the Show, but NBA2k11 is a much better game than NCAA. So obviously it's going to come under less fire even though it's not perfect either. In the end people just want a good football game and the crying comes from frustration that NCAA falls short (in some people's opinion). If you think the game is good, then more power to you enjoy playing it.

The things is the have fixed are the major problems people had with 11 and added a few more other stuff. If that's the only thing they've done that would make me happy because all other stuff is just extra like a cherry on top. When it comes down to it what really matters is gameplay and longevity not stats overlays and dreads. They have put a lot of effort into fixing gameplay which makes the game look and hopefully feel great to play. And I hope they also put a lot of effort into online franchise because that really matters when I think about dropping the 3 year season I'm already in.

I know people are upset that they dont have all these graphical changes like new cut scenes but remember people that you will soon be pressing the X button to skip over those cut scenes anyway.

LOL at the Quinn reference.

Well, does it look one hundred percent true to life? No, but, I still think it looks OK

This is an intelligent post. I do agree that most of this stuff get skipped over anyway. I do feel like stay overlays are simple and go a long way to help immersion but oh well

After watching the videos again, I noticed many alignment problems with WR's on most formations. Maybe this has always been an issue and I just haven't paid that much attention. Most WR's align on the top or bottom of numbers depending on routes being run. Also ball on left hash the Outside WR will usually align out on the numbers and the inside WR will be just off the hash. In the videos we do not get a WR out all the way to the numbers to really spread the field. Again not a big thing and it could have always been that way, but just something I noticed.
