No, that's not what I meant.

On all but two of them, an appreciable number of people have been right in their guesses. Among the remaining two, I haven't seen the correct answer at all on one of them, and only one person has gotten the other right, though that's two now. For the record, neither are in this thread.

in the Ray Rice picture, if you click it and enlarge it, way over to the right you see what looks like 4 icons maybe?

http://upload.operationsports.com/im...enteaserOS.png

Hard to tell what they are.

If they are player roles. Hip hop hooray!
If they are weapons BOOOOOOOOO!

there was a thread on here recently called Bring Back Player Roles, it got tons of responses, so I think Ea put it back in, they;d be crazy if they didn't as everybody to a man wants them back in.

Motion shifting all over the place on the field goal screens at the top middle.

I think it says NFL players! If Dynmic player performance is basically form its the most over fluffed feature in history.

I hope player tendancies, mean that suh cant get pancaked by a punter and the computer decides it going to have an amazing comeback!

i don't know.
I think the icon on the left is the NFL logo, but why would they put 'NFL player' there? we know he's an NFL player, unless they plan on having scabs in there this year. in that case you could be right. lol

come on devs, throw us a bone, at least tell us if the stuff on the right is something worth speculating on!

i would like to see those post-play cut scenes drastically improved to mimic a real broadcast camera angle. i also don't understand the obsession with extreme facial close ups of players chewing air or twitching around. it takes a lot of realism away when you see that stuff.

with that in mind, perhaps the trailer suggests EA is working on making those cut scenes and spectator (OF mode??) camera angles as close as possible to an NFL broadcast.

i'm assuming since NCAA did new grass, madden will follow suit. can't make a fair judgment on gameplay yet, but would have liked to see a hint that collision detection, tackling, momentum, etc. are being taken into consideration. the foot plant may suggest a taste of things to come, but again...it's all about quality implementation.

I agree. I hope they dont overlook this and Im sure they havent. But with EA you never really know until you play the game for yourself. I mean im still getting celebration animations from my own team when my QB gets sacked. And the grass for NCAA i dont know about that it looks very long and not like an NFL field. What bothers me is that FIFA has the perfect looking turf but for some reason Maddens is just not on the same level. These are just things I notice. It doesnt stop me from playing the games.

Doesn't do a darn thing for me...

...Madden hasn't been the same since the SNES days...sorry to say, but next-gen hasn't been "next-gen" football at all. Boo.

Impossible to see anything I'm looking for in this teaser. Actually, this vid shows that some of what I'm looking for hasn't been addressed.

*Goes back to corner and waits for more info*

Smell the cheese, you will be able to buy and sell your playbooks... Don't know whether thats good or bad depending on how deep the play book customization is i.e. if it includes things like :

-user friendly adjustments: someone is able to create play that automates from start to finish including pre snap adjustment (good for offense to combat nano, but would create a one click nano maker for defense) I'm gonna assume that that amount of customization won't happen because of time, simpler quicker deeper...

I see something that looks like online spectating with the exception it's live score card type with chat ability, not like the MMA live spectate that they showed at E3 last year (wonder what happened to sharing in house resourses) 00:18

The Surprise onside kick looked to be on display.

not on my wish lists for madden next gen to present but I'm sure people are drooling.

Uhm, maybe I missed something, but where has this been implied at all?

Could you let us know which one we totally whiffed on? I'm guessing its got to be either the Ray Rice one or the Walter Payton one. Only two people got the FG one right and the rest seem to be pretty obvious.

Also, can you tell us whether the Player Tendencies will be editable?

1)In-depth Online Team-Play Lobbies

2)Synthetic/Simulated Grass....looked like Atlanta's Turf

3)New Stat Attributes...LaDanian had stats/attributes recorded for running the ball to the right or left

4)New Team Specific Intro's

5)Re-Vamped Special Teams...pay close attention...there's a guy close to blocking both field goals kicks!

6)Locomotion has had some work done...pay close attention to the bottom right vid...showing off a WR coming off the line...you can actually see his foot placement/burst as he accelerates

7)Surprise Onside Kicks...we already knew this one

8)Improved Lighting...the birds-eye view of Steelers Stadium looks close to the real thing!

So far this is all I spotted...

the one of the field is part of their superbowl presentation. the endzones say steelers and packers

# 276 TomBrady @ 03/23/11 03:04 PM
Dont know if it has been mentioned yet, but if you look at this photo you can clearly see on the bottom left part one that they have added cheerleaders:
http://upload.operationsports.com/im...enteaserOS.png

Also classic players (Walter Payton) are back.

Really looking foward to august/release.

Yeah, cheerleaders have been mentioned.

Walter Payton was just released on MUT, so, that could mean more legends for MUT mode.

What was I suppose to see other than custom playbooks and what looks to be that surprise onside kick?

Aha, Madden took notes.

Why are they now just putting dynamic grass and physical conditions?
I know a couple games ( 2K, TSB) that have done that already. I guess better late than never.

-Don't care:
Madden Ultimate Team

- Excited if true:
Spectator Mode. That would be nice. Especially if one can set camera to broadcast mode.
Classic players. Only if you can wear the uniform like they did back in the day. No sense in watching Walter Payton play in some modern Nike Sharks. Pony or Roos.
