The NBA 2K11 demo is available now for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

You can only play as the Lakers, can't play as the Celtics
4 minute demo
Can't run plays
LT+RT to post up
No replay

gasol in the post = insane

kobes fadeaways are a thing of beauty.

the game is just so...fluid

spacing is indeed much better

cpu gets their hands on a lot of passes...no more throwing dumb passes unless you want to gift the cpu fast break pt after another.

took me a few tries just to beat the cpu, and this is on pro i think?

its gonna be a longggggg 3 weeks

Haha! That's awesome (check my forum name).

This demo is amazing. Animations / frame rates / controls are all SILKY smooth.

All I can say is this... taking mid range jumpers with Kobe in virtual land has never felt this good. All sorts of different leaners, fades, step backs, etc... this is just brilliant.

Movement in general is a lot better.

I love how if you try to force the tempo when you really shouldn't, it often results in a turnover / intercepted pass (whereas in 2k10 you were free to go crazy). Not saying this game will force people to play Sim, but it definitely seems to encourage Sim play more than 2k10 did.

Overall, for me, this demo lives up to the hype. 2k11 is going to be amazing. Going to pre-order now.

talk about attention to detail. ne one notice the expected attendance changes each time? wonder wut else they got going on...but they did kinda false advertise cus on they facebook page last week they said who will you choose lakers or celtics? guess they maybe wanted to keep kobes full arsenal for october....either way so far so good....

Take into consideration how many of these positive comments are just coming from the excitement. When that wears off, the real game will show through.

Last year everyone was talking so highly of 2K10 for the first week, then it was all downhill from there.

I think for a demo, a full game with Lakers vs Celtics is the better go. It gives you an overall better impression of what the game will be like. There is only so much that can happen with one 4 minute quarter. You don't get to see how bugged the substitutions are and the late game AI...wait, maybe that's why they only give you one quarter.

funny thing for me is that I still play this game like it came out yesterday..I love 2k10 and I can't wait to feel all of the new changes in 2k11......I gonna start praying that I still have a wife after oct ..lol

I know exactly what he is talking about. I've seen users do this all the time. I'm posted up. His man is not even in reach. But they never called defensive 3 second in 2k10.
