The NBA 2K11 demo is available now for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

You can only play as the Lakers, can't play as the Celtics
4 minute demo
Can't run plays
LT+RT to post up
No replay

Enthusiasts .. want to get a feel of how accurate our impressions are .. read the impressions for 2k10's demo .. and compare it to what you actually saw. Then read what they're saying now .. good for a somewhat accurate guestimate.

I bet the PS3 demo gets delayed a few days...Sony is so lame at getting demos out. I think they have a bunch of monkeys running that department or something.

Why is everyone posting about not having the 2k demo yet. Again, PSN updates at a random time between 5:30-10PM. There is still a good 4 hours left.

Well we aren't since I live on the east coast too. I forgot to enter EST, but I have posted the same message at least 5 times today. I'm getting sick of reading the where is the demo posts in this impression thread.

EXACTLY. I have no idea why people stayed up last night / early this morning for the PS3 demo. They don't release it until the evening. Just go do something and don't schedule your life around a demo release. I want it bad too, but I know how 2K is.

i dont get it...its a demo of course its stripped down...go download 2k7 and 2k8 its the same thing...no commentary and its only one quarter...why do people act so surprised?

i blame the madden demo for spoiling you guys...

Is the demo on xbox 360 gold only? I have both but my 360 gold ran out a long time ago. I been just using the ps3 the last year

Disappointed to hear that plays are not in the demo. I guess I'll still download it to see how the controls have improved and play a game or two but I'm sure I'll get bored very quickly, just like I did with 2K9 and 2K10.

its the LT button...im trying to do some layups using the modifier and i end up dong jumpers with the shots going high of the glass...

The demo is unbelievable. The graphics look a little better. The movement is sick Kobe is just a beast. Can't wait for the full game. I just wish it was 2 players and was able to use Boston, but oh well.
