The NBA 2K11 demo is available now for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

You can only play as the Lakers, can't play as the Celtics
4 minute demo
Can't run plays
LT+RT to post up
No replay

I didn't say anything about reading through the threads to find my posts. If you are a PSN user you should know by now that PSN never updates in the morning or even around noon time. Yet, people still decided to keep looking around those times and then post, "Where's the PS3 demo!??!!?" There were times where it updated at like 5 PM, but there was that one day where it looked like the update wasn't coming at all until it just came up passed 10.

Plays are in...sort of.

Tap LB then quickly tap a,b,x,y or LT to select a player you want to run a play for then quickly tap one of the face buttons to trigger the play vision.

Can't see the play call name, and it's a little cumbersome to start them, for instance if you want to run a play for fish and he has the ball you'll end up passing the ball and having to get a back to fish to start the play. You'll lose your dribble with a pass fake if you run a play for kobe. You'll lose your dribble after a pumpfake when you try to run a play for Ron Ron....you get the idea.

My First Impressions:
The graphics are re defined that is good.
You can string moves more easily
The Staples Center looks sick and Lakers jerseys etc...
I wish they had different game controls settings.
The "BIG KNOCK" the players slide to much on defense. (hope they clean up before Oct 5)
All in All it looks good, cant wait wait till Oct5

The controls are so smooth. Some of the buttons were changed though so it took me a while to get the hang of it.

same here. I've been a longtime customer of NBA 2K though, so I am waiting patiently for that also. I tried downloading on 360 and it turns out my Gold expired. I rarely use my 360 anymore.

IDK when the NHL demo came out exactly, but I do know I was at home around 9pm on the day the demo came out and it was on the PS store, so just wait a few more hours till you see it.

It's not like you NEED to play the demo right now, you have 3 weeks to play it so there's no real rush, especially for a game with a single game mode that's a few mins in a single quarter with one team.

I disagree completely. 2K10 had player movement that was so swirly I couldn't even control where my player was standing. That is not playable. I'm hoping 2K11 is better, but all this talk about the Player momentum feeling too heavy is just reminding me why I didn't play 2K10.

Really I blame all those of you that complained so much about "skating". At least the player control was WAY better back then.

Yeah, you're going to find a lot of people that disagree with you. 2K9 movement was TOTALLY broken and 2K10, much less broken. Both broken, but 2K9 was unplayable broken.

Damn man KG kept making turn around jumpers on me when he was like 2 inches from the 3 point line. Well sucks that the CPU is always putting in subs and that I can't. I wanted to use Steve Blake and Matt Barnes for a little. Also they subbed in almost everybody except Shaq haha.

I have yet to read everything, but at first glance - the colors definitely pop out, the nameplates on the jerseys are much improve, it looks graphically smoother and vibrant, free throw animations look spot on, and I just pulled off a leaning fadeaway with Kobe draining it in Ray's grill.

Looking sick! Can't wait to play the full game.
