Just played a game and executed a move that had me jump off my chair.....Had Kobe in the post against Allen on the wing, hit the "b" button for a pass fake and (out of the post) Kobe executed a "Jordanesque" ball fake with one hand pump to his right side, Allen bit and I pulled off a fadeaway jumper.....Money! Wish I had that on video. Damn that was sweetness!!!
On another note (I searched the thread before bringing this up and didn't see anything)....Is it just me or does anyone else notice a delay in the time it takes to grab an offensive rebound and the time it takes to put the ball back up under the basket? I'm grabbing offensive boards, pressing the shot stick (have also tried the shoot button) and the player isn't responding immediately to the command...It's like there's a 1-2 second delay in the time it takes to put the shot up. Kinda frustrating.
How do you spin to the basket from post position BEFORE dribbling? I want to catch the rock with my back to the basket and spin to the basket before dribbling...is this possible and how?
How sim do you think the PRO difficulty with DEFAULT gamestyle should be? If you're not getting more dunks here than you should be, then that's a problem. Don't expect the defaults to be totally sim. We're already see nuff trepidation about getting passes picked. I think this is as designed. The game has more "sim" than what you're seeing in the demo.
Maybe. I'm not seeing many passes being picked or defensive plays in general though. Also not seeing much fouling either, only 2 total (1 shot foul) in 5+ games. Off ball movement as well is still non existent every now and then. Things like that may not differ much between levels. We'll see.
Quick breakdown on how to run a play(in the demo atleast):
Once most of your players are past half court tap LB/L1 and then quickly follow that up by pressing the icon of the player you want to run the play for. For example, Kobe Bryant would be B or O. So initially, tap LB/L1 and then quickly tap B/O. A red circle will be under the player of choice, Kobe in this case. You will now need to press another face button (A,B,X,Y/X,O,Triangle,Square) to initiate a play. If done correctly, play art will show up on the court.
It'll take a few times to be able to perform it constantly, and i'm sure that in the released version of 2k11 it will be much easier to do judging by Da Czar's videos. If you have any questions, just ask them in here.
Quoting myself so those with Ps3 or anyone else who just got the demo can learn how to run plays without having to read this whole thread.
