I just wanted to show how the PC 2K10 version looks and compares to 2K11 console. I wasn't showcasing the gameplay or my (lack of) skills for that matter.

After playing the 2K11 demo, I am impressed at how much they improved on the graphics which looks almost as good as a powerful PC rig can run. That was really the purpose of my video.

I don't play online much so I will probably still stick to the PC version this year since it's $30 cheaper. But kudos to 2K for improving the game overall each and every year!

It sure is... gasol threw a long pass to kobe going down court and as he was trying to gather the ball up, PP came and snatched it away... very nice

whenever you try for a steal the cpu player will protect the ball away from you...its a nice little RESPONSIVE animation

im only disappointed that the walk up animations are gone...2k10 had it but it was hard to pull off...still thats my tiny gripe...

Yes. I've also seen guys lose the ball off of contact.

Not sure what you mean by steal deflections while performing iso-motion moves however.

Anyone try the "flick flick" moves yet? They're some of my favorite shots.

Hold LT, flick the Shot Stick and let it return to neutral (like a pumpfake), then flick and hold it again before the pumpfake ends. You get different shots depending on your movement, facing, distance, and direction of your flicks.

If you're having trouble getting your passes picked, Total Control Passing will allow you to move your receivers around wherever you want. Unfortunately, it's disabled by default so you'll have to enable it when you pick up the full version. Personally, I can't play without it.

Too bad you guys can't change the diff. and game style... it changes the experience pretty drastically.

Are you sure. Because I did Kobe in the lane he **** the shoot button and he did a runner and scored.

I'm gonna have to learn how to play 2k all over again lol the demo is off the chains. This momentum changes alot in the way the players respond to shots and passes I like it!! It's so detailed you can even see the stretch marks on kendrick perkins haha. Oct can't get here soon enough..I just need help with this new iso-motion and I'll be good.

flick flick? man how many controls does this game have...gotta go to practice mode now...

Just an observation and wanted to know if anybody feels the same:

The defensive cut-off move can be performed by pressing down LT and moving the RS in the direction you want your defender to go.

If you're not pressing down LT then you can use the standard defensive moves.

Anyone see a perfectly developed CPU play coming and you didnt stop it because you didnt really believe they'd do that in a game but they did it to you!

# 355 TalenT @ 09/14/10 01:44 PM
I'm so heated. The game finished downloading right before I had to go to work. I only got one game in but, from what I can tell it's gonna be a good year for basketball! I AM a little disappointed that you can only play with the Lakers. I was looking forward playing with the Celtics. Beggers can't be choosers I guess. -Shrugs-

# 356 jeebs9 @ 09/14/10 01:46 PM
Its a stripped down version of the game oO...I think it will be in the game.

I already stated that I have not played the game and I'm only basing my opinion on the graphics and how extremely similar it looks to 2K10 (atleast in the demo). I would have hoped that the developers would have enhanced the visuals but I guess that will have to wait until next year.
what did you expect? they can only improve so much because of the limitations of the current game systems. did you expect them to magically jump to photorealistic graphics using the current xbox hardware? it's not possible. you're not going to see a huge leap in graphics until the new systems come out and they have more powerful graphics capabilities.

Now that I got my hands on I'm so excited for the game!!! It looks like I will be in practice more until I get used to the somewhat new controls..

I keep forgetting theirs no lock down D

And the shot stick actually works this year!

Oh and I'm so amazed that the dunks actually look good this year, and there so smooth. The last time they looked good was back when Iverson was on the cover!

i will check it out again later but im pretty certain...instead you have a slow hunched over walk type animation....plus side is that the sticks matter which is huge but at the cost of losing the nice walk up animations...

thats the time i usually call plays to...like you said more authentic...
