Na...Michael on a demo...That would of wet the millions of casual users. Not the whole Jordan Challenge. I was considering having a situation set up for the user to play as the Bulls from behind in the fourth quarter with 4 minutes remaining. Something like that. Not this one player demo with 4 minutes. Its kind of lame in this day and age.

-Rondo takes it from Fisher. Just takes it for the fast break, no look behind the head dish to PP for a smash. Another play he gets slapped with the reach. Everything is so fluid. I tried to see how far I could walk the dog, and let the ball near halfcourt. Rondo zooms in, scoops it up for the easy fast break dunk.

-Moving around in space with the modifier on is sublime. I hate that they removed the walk it up anims, but I love how Fish can handle so fluidly, again. Retreats, pulls up with the between the legs...this is the perfect marriage of control and sweet, sweet mo-cap.

-Weakside help is there 90% of the time, which is great. Lots of tipped shots and outright rejections. Seen a few instances of help defenders just jumping at nothing, but it's been greatly reduced.

-KG on the blocks is sick. JO is so nice on here too. The sig stuff is bananas overall. The Truth's set shot, SMH. Mom. Ba. He's cheese, lol. Using Kobe is F'n cheese. I did a double spin baseline fadeway with Bean that was just filthy.

-Spacing is great, passing lanes are now monitored closely by the D. This year, if you don't have the angle, it's a wrap on the ill-advised pass.

It's tough to mentally note all the crazy things you see playing this.

Man, great job to all yooz 2K staff.
You just made it extremely hard to not download the demo. I'm a demo feen normally, but I'm trying my best not to download this so it'll all be fresh when it finally gets here.

Sounds like everything that us old heads could ask for, and then some.

Nice writeup Macca

This demo is awesome. Isomotion in the past I hated. I mean really hated. Made the game unplayable to me. It's been completely overhauled and this game runs like butta! This will be the only game to get NCAA out of my rotation.

Again, you need to think like a "regular" customer (whatever you want to call it), not like someone who knows almost everything about the game and would pay anything to have MJ (like us?). If 2K did that, these people would be focused on the MJ thing rather than the controls/defense/AI etc. So, for them it would be 2K10+Jordan. Even big MJ fans...would they pay $60 for only having Jordan? I don't know...

Will they release the my player training and draft like last year?

OOOHH I see what your saying now. (And I think you meant general customer)....Still think my idea would of been cooler..lol

But I wonder why release a one teamed one player game. My little brother wouldn't even give this game another look because he only plays with Dallas...and Dallas only.

-You can lose your dribble if you try to isomotion into the defender, and have to make a tough pass to get it out against the close D.

- I love how they automatically step back behind the line if they're close to it.

- How there are some bad passes that go rolling to the players feet and they have to duck to get them.

- The lightning and it effects on players skin tones.

- The opening BOS play from Rondo to Allen.

- The view of the Staples ... was that a real footage or a in game scene ?

- Big baby face ... was more than spot on.

- The substitution overlays ... marvelous (thus scares me to death just when I think on all those black silhouttes that will greatly take away the authenticity of such incredible feature).

- The panoramic of the audience ... broadcast authenticity at its best.

- All the contact.

- The smootheness of moves transitions and the momentums ... oh, momentums !

The one thing I still want to see implemented in 2K11 that was in ID04 was the ability to set individual players defense on how to play the pick and roll and how to play the post.

Anybody know if this is going to be in there as well?

We usually agree, not this time...and it's ok, it was a good talk!

As for your brother, I know he likes to play with Dallas but...he doesn't like to play with LA??!! Does he know that's he's going to hell?

23, no need to delete this one, not gonna keep it...just wanted to end this converstion with Jeebs. Back on topic!

I know I am... and I'm on pins & needles trying to tip toe around not downloading it. But it will be worth it when it comes out. I'll probably end up breaking before the day, but I'm trying to hold of.

# 397 youvalss @ 09/14/10 02:30 PM
I watched some youtube videos, and saw Rondo stripping the ball out of the user hands, and it's so great seeing the CPU doing it!

Guys- How do Paul Pierce and Ray Allen look this year from a face model standpoint in the demo? If not too much trouble could someone post a screen capture?

# 400 HMcCoy @ 09/14/10 02:35 PM
2K9 and 10 forced you to move around with fancy animations, and that could get frustrating. This year they're optional, but so so buttery. Between this, Fifa 11, and COD, the lack of sleep Im going to be dealing with in a month is gonna be brutal. Blurry eyes, sleep paralasys...Thanks 2K!

Oh man my vids are gonna to be sick, lol. Momentous! I'mma callin you out.
