doing a hook shot beyond the free throw line was ugly man..... could have been a turnaround jumper

You have to remember its all user controlled Jules haha depending on who is playing you can see some crazy stuff but most of it is up to the user.

where those wii controllers that Wall was using?

Hate to see morph at 01:05.

I know Backbreaker has morph issues also. But...come on, it's a new physics engine. Noway body morph!!!

And...from at 01:54 Durant isn't even walking back properly when he is tracing on LeBron. That ice-skating is just awful.

Hopefully devs have enough time to improve their engine. I really want EA to step up big this year.

sorry but I'm pretty disappointed...I mean the animations look like ps2...I know it's user controlled...but the block animation? also the defensive animations...hm I have to say that I was more thrilled last year than this...I mean this control system seems to be good...but when the animations are still like '10 and the morph effect is still there...hm?! as I said I'm a little disappointed right now...

Here come the microscopes!

It's an early build, they said blocking and defensive animations haven't been fully implemented, along with the full array of animations. You will see morphing and sliding as the game does without them for now.

You know something Czar... I totally understand full user control.

That said, it should be completely taken out where the user or the cpu can do a hookshot from that far out. Some other animation should be in the place of that from that distance.

Why wouldn't it be full control? Having full control doesnt mean you should be able to do things on the court that isnt natural?

If anything I can understand it being a sky hook because youre moving but a regular hookshot? Im having flashbacks of Andrew Bynum doing fadeaways from the perimeter again.

I don't have a problem with it. At the end of the day no matter how unnatural it looked that is a shot that you can take in real life so if you're doing full control it should be in. Now as far as it goin in thats a whole nother story.......

That looked very iffy..

They really, REALLY need to slow down the game speed. It likes like it's being played in fast forward when they're dribbling.

:17 mark on the LBJ Eurostep, that was ugly.

LeBron could shoot half court shots all game if he wanted to, but who does that? I'll take a floater or something Shawn Marion likes to do from that distance before a hookshot. Sorry thats just how I feel, because like that, other things.

That morph is quite strange when you remember what Reanimation explained about realtime physics. He said they are using chest, shoulder and hip for players' body contact recognition. But look at that morph. All those parts of body of two players are morphed. It means two players didn't recognize each other at that time.

As you said, its an early build. But even though it is, I don't get it. Cause in other situation, for example, when LeBron backed down Durant, it works, they recognize each other with one player's hip and the others some body parts. Maybe there is something programming-related which i don't know of.

I agree. They need to slow the game down A LOT. You can't really appreciate the moves because they're done too fast.

I think you're talkin about clipping when you say "morph". And if you're gonna play video games you're going to have to deal with a bit of clipping.Look at this:

Crysis is the most advanced game out and there is still clipping. Until hardware improves dramatically clipping will always be in video games.......

Not organic @ all.

# 20 dexvex @ 06/25/10 01:11 PM
rewatching that video theres some obvious issues but I think its more on the lines of what da_czar said about the user can make it look erratic or good depending on skill. I mean comparing this to the 7min video where the guy actually knows what he's doing it looked real smooth and organic.....

I really need to see videos from somebody who knows how to play.......
