"In a closed-door session, we got our first look at NBA2K11 earlier today at E3. Walking Chase Becotte and myself through the very brief demo was NBA2K11 producer, Eric Boenisch. The major announcement is the removal of Isomotion controls. Although a staple in the series and a well-received feature, the NBA2K11 team felt Isomotion was too limited. However, there’s no word just yet on what new dribbling scheme will take its place in NBA2K11."

This is why I like Backbreaker. I been playing games sense the Intelivision and I'ts not just easy for me to get used to new controls its required so the artform stays fresh. Learning to pass in Backbreaker was fun. There was no adjustment period at all with the shot stick. I wanted to select my layups and didnt want to use two buttons to score. Thats all it took. I wanted to do it and it was done.

5 keys to passing

Know your team, know your patterns, know your reads, know your check downs which should include throw aways and runs, and if the QB isnt that good dont try to put touch on the pass. Push the right stick up and leave it.

Its great when you get it. If only the CPU could move the ball.

I think thats a little too much...lol If I wanted to play Quarterback like that. I would just...go outside...lol

But I threw like 3 passes behind me for fumbles....lol

In one game lol? I have only done that once in a 100 games but still I dont own the game yet. I'm still on the demo. In one game I went 6/7 2 TD 0 ints.

THey better keep the shot stick. Otherwise I'll keep on playing 2k7. The shot sticks gives you so much more control of the type of shot you want to do. Its so boring just pressing a button. Only time I use it is for 3 pointers.

I just realized that all of you guys suck!

Now at first, I was just like all of yall frustrated when I went over my friends house to play 2k10. Complaining about how isomotion did not not make sense. How live's dribble system was so much better.

That was until I actual bought 2k10 (recently) and learned how to us isomotion.
Its not that hard and if you can do all the dribble moves in live, 2K is basically the same.

Crossover = Left to Right Movement
Spin = a half circle
in n out = left right left
all while holding L2
then when hold L2 and R2 its even more dribble moves.

I think 2k will win on graphics, but Elite will take the cake with controls, gameplay, and presentation.

The deal breaker for me is going to be the real time physics and skill based shot selection. I don't think I could settle for another 2k game where you miss wide open jumpers and feel you have no control over it and pulling and sucking canned animations.

I still think I will be getting Elite 11 in October.
Shot stick is still in.
