I see where you're coming from, but this was not a widely-released video. Who knows about this aside from us? No one. No one aside from the sports gamers who are constantly on these sites know that this video exists. The developers tailor video blogs specifically to us to show us how far they've come.

Im angered by this, not mad, if I find out it's not a joke. Then I'm going to be mad about this. Don't flat out lie to me, in a blog post by EA they said this:

I'd be shocked if the game came out looking vastly different than this video. That's why EA likes to put out those videos(like the locomotion) to make the game look better than it is. When raw footage comes out the true nature of the game is revealed, lol. I just can't believe they revealed it this early.

Some of the clips in this video are from the locomotion video, except here everything isn't hidden by flashy well-timed editing or slow motion. I was very optimistic about this year's game hearing they totally revamped locomotion. I pray this is just a terrible mistake, but knowing EA this gen, I doubt it will get much better.

I still can't get over how absolutely horrible that vid was - I laughed at it even. And to think I was actually starting to come around to NCAA 11 thinking this just might be the year they put it all together. Well, with this vid it is clear for now that I'm going to be waiting for A) PS4 version of NCAA or B) Someone else to make an NCAA football game. I mean, can you devs. just update the equipment on the PS2 version? I'd be more than satisfied with that - at least everything works properly and has solid gameplay. The next gen version is just a lost cause imo. I am so glad the overwhelming sentiment toward the game is now negative with the latest vid... See EA? You can give us all the bells and whistles (ESPN, fancy names for upgraded gameplay, bogus features) but if the main thing - actual football - doesn't play right, its still trash.

The only reason anyone will say amen at the funeral of NCAA Football for 360/PS3 is so they can eat the food after, I'll be glad to see it go, maybe If I had an expendable income I'd waste it on this POS product.....sell me fun, not headaches before I can even buy it!

Your optimism is admirable but money is money. EA would never pull a stunt that could potentially hurt their sales; be it by one gamer or one million gamers, it's not smart business. If you want to be optimistic that's fine but be optimistic that the glaring problems in the video can (and will) be fixed, not that this whole thing was just a huge gag that fell flat.

LOL at people saying there passing on buying and saying there not coming back to the boards...most of them will be back and will purchase the game.

i thought it looked bad! but the jurys not out on me yet...its only the first video...ill wait to make my judgement until i see a lot more videos just my 2 cents

I want to see some more standard gameplay with some espn presentation before I start throwing the franchise completely under the bus again

but that video certainly didn't give me any reason to believe we've turned the corner yet with this game

We've all been severely let down by EA in the past. Rather than dwell on the negative, I'll retain my optimism and hope for a game that will at least keep me entertained.

It's quite pathetic that a series that once had me on pins and needles for weeks/months up until release has turned me into a man who expects marginal improvements. EA has turned me into a man who prefers optimism and ignorance. Terrible.

lol it looked like and unedited locomotion vid that was released earlier. I think what makes it so bad is the timing. I mean it was released so close to the locomotion vid and chats.

Can we really expect a drastic change from this build to the final build? I really hope so because this video was atrocious. How disappointing EA.... heres to hoping they come out with a better gameplay video soon.

People are cursing EA, comparing a game to cheating ex-girlfriends, just going all out...its just a video game kids! Don't give me the "i work hard for my money" speech cause if you we so worried about money you wouldn't be paying for internet to come on here and complain about a Video Games that you prolly buy every year anyway...

BTW the next video most folks will exhale...and then just back on the bandwagon....but this is fun to watch, kept me entertained through class.

this must be a joke.. right? I mean there were SOME bits and pieces of "greatness" in that clip but that spin at the end?! are you kidding?! Who would look at that and be say "WOW THAT SPIN ANIMATION WAS AMAZING!!!" The marketing team couldnt find a better animation to put in there to at least BS us??? lol I think i could make a trailer that looked better than that with NCAA 10

I don't think I'm on the "this is a prank" team here, but it is very odd that this video is nowhere to be found on the official website. Also, the guys who've played the game on NCAA strategies seem to be laughing this thing off so I'm still feeling pretty good about the game.

Well I did some research on EA's site and there is hardly any mention of it. Even in the forums. Plus when has EA ever had a first look at the game without their signature "sizzle" trailer ? You know their big dramatic "120 ways to win", or "ESPN is in the game" or any of their marketing genius that lures us in year in year out? Something's just not sitting right with me.

Does anyone agree? When has EA ever released a random video for a game? Or a video is out on every site but theirs? I mean really. I'm not quite convinced yet. All of you who claim to been buying games for years remember them doing this? We've been getting info so far from EA now all of a sudden we get a video and can't trace it back to EA ?
