NCAA Football 11 Video: Gameplay Footage

Im angered by this, not mad, if I find out it's not a joke. Then I'm going to be mad about this. Don't flat out lie to me, in a blog post by EA they said this:

I'd be shocked if the game came out looking vastly different than this video. That's why EA likes to put out those videos(like the locomotion) to make the game look better than it is. When raw footage comes out the true nature of the game is revealed, lol. I just can't believe they revealed it this early.

Some of the clips in this video are from the locomotion video, except here everything isn't hidden by flashy well-timed editing or slow motion. I was very optimistic about this year's game hearing they totally revamped locomotion. I pray this is just a terrible mistake, but knowing EA this gen, I doubt it will get much better.

I still can't get over how absolutely horrible that vid was - I laughed at it even. And to think I was actually starting to come around to NCAA 11 thinking this just might be the year they put it all together. Well, with this vid it is clear for now that I'm going to be waiting for A) PS4 version of NCAA or B) Someone else to make an NCAA football game. Even looking at the new screens is painful - the models are still terrible, colors look off, everything is huge & shiny still. WTF.

And LOL at mtoo22's comparison to a cheating girlfriend and EA. Its so true, we take them back, build the trust up yet they continue to F us over.

I mean, can you devs. just update the equipment on the PS2 version? I'd be more than satisfied with that - at least everything works properly and has solid gameplay. The next gen version is just a lost cause imo. I am so glad the overwhelming sentiment toward the game is now negative with the latest vid... See EA? You can give us all the bells and whistles (ESPN, fancy names for upgraded gameplay, bogus features) but if the main thing - actual football - doesn't play right, its still trash.

Disappointing video. The player movements still look stiff and unnatural.

Honestly, those spin moves looked terrible.

The only reason anyone will say amen at the funeral of NCAA Football for 360/PS3 is so they can eat the food after, I'll be glad to see it go, maybe If I had an expendable income I'd waste it on this POS product.....sell me fun, not headaches before I can even buy it!

When it comes to NCAA football, you are still the best and most respected poster.

What a trash vid of a trash product. How anyone can get excited and shell out another 60 bones for this game blows my mind...

Your optimism is admirable but money is money. EA would never pull a stunt that could potentially hurt their sales; be it by one gamer or one million gamers, it's not smart business. If you want to be optimistic that's fine but be optimistic that the glaring problems in the video can (and will) be fixed, not that this whole thing was just a huge gag that fell flat.
