Thats just not good at all you have a year and thats all they came up with on top of that the game looks the same as far as player models so now people will feel like they been playing the same game for three years in a row. S.U.C.K

This video was horrible. I don't know how they can let this video get out. It's liked they purposely wanted to destroy the hype of their game.

wow, is this a hockey game or what? these guys are skating around like thy are on a frozen lake.. i dunno man, it just looks like such pre canned animations where you really have no control on what is really happening.

I thought that this wasn't going to be a completely new game and the same flaws that made their way into next gen were still going to be here...and it looks like I was right. Still, I would like to see a more recent build during a true gameplay angle before I pass any more judgement.

I think the running animations look a bit better. The cuts and spins not so much.

I'll start out by saying that, yes, I realize I'm being ridiculously optimistic here, but let's take a step back and think about this logically for a minute.

EA has done nothing but give us excellent news about the game thus far, correct? So why would they INTENTIONALLY slow down and highlight aspects of the game that they know we will all see and be disgusted with? Highlighting the OSU tight end, highlighting the Clemson spin move. Why would they

Yes, it looks like NCAA 10. Yes, the player models are sized incorrectly. Yes, locomotion is only apparent sparsely. But there is no way that this is an official video. No commentary, no EA introduction...not like EA. I, for one, would not be surprised if EA released a video that sated our desire for decent football.

I also realize that I'm putting faith in a company that does not deserve any. My faith, instead, lies in the potential ability to play a solid game of college football that exceeds my experiences from the prior iteration.

Just a side-note...did anyone else notice in the locomotion video that one of the developers was performing in mo-cap? The fat guy, I don't know his name. Maybe that's why the animations look so effed...to cut costs, EA mo-caps their own developers.

Yea Im not jumping yet. Up until now all info has been awesome. For this video to come out of nowhere is kinda fishy. Either it was leaked unintentionally and someone is about to be fired/sued or EA is f'n w/ us. but for this vid to highlight soo many things wrong is weird especially the complete lack of momentum by that TE and the slowdown(look @ me) warp spin tackle animation.

count me as unimpressed. I was very excited about this game, all that dwindled down in about a minute of video.

If this video were leaked EA would've had it pulled long before now.

It definitely wasn't leaked....but the possibility exists that they're effing with us. They've fully aware of the cyclic trend that occurs every year with this game, maybe they're just trying to have a bit of fun with us.

Is that the new locomotion engine? I sincerely hope not. When in the world are they going to fix the rendering so the animations actually look fluid? Game still looks robotic and will continue to be so until they fix the rendering.

yeah I agree with prowler....EA doesn't like bad publicity, and look what they got from this. I don't see them putting out a video that they know is going to anger the base of hardcore fans. It just does seem very odd though. The thing is, its so "EA" to promise changes and not deliver it wouldn't surprise me or anyone here if it is truly from EA. It also coincides with an error with the PS3 Cover Art...just a coincidence I suppose.

I feel like EA put that vid out letting us see all the wrong things, Telling us its all the things they have fixed in the game this year . Rememeber its all of the things we asked for and its everything thats wrong with the vid. This makes all the sense because the vid doesnt match the info giving.

Excellent point. I really hope you're right. I think everyone here, at NCAA Strategies, and PastaPadre hope you're right

If so, I wish they would have said so before hand. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me....and most of us have been fooled many many times by this company on this current "gen". Don't try and play tricks on me, how about you take the time and show me what you fixed thats been messed up for 5 years now.

# 237 mtoo22 @ 04/20/10 01:54 AM
It's like saying....here's what it could be like....and heres a new vid go be happy....yet we still find things wrong, But, HEY! its better than before, remember how mad you all got when we released that video..

# 238 GaryT531 @ 04/20/10 01:54 AM
movements seem more fluid imo. notre dame's uniform numbers aren't way too big anymore like they were the past few years. some spin moves just didn't look right esp the one of the clemson player. QB's look to finally be able to get a pass off at the very last second before being hit/sacked.

Bro your right on this ,But look at it like this They know how we feel about this . Plus its still early in even to be giving info as far as vids , So to me I think Its all apart of faze of They can do that. Also I think it something for now to open our eyes to this years game. I feel like their toying with us.

EA is a multi-billion (with a B) dollar company, they don't have time to prank a small community of gamers; especially in a manner that might effect their bottom line. If EA were truly yanking us they would have done something obvious like release photos of Tim Tebow wearing an Alabama jersey not a video that reaffirms what many already believed.
