But, I pre-ordered twice from different stores (after reading this thread today). I am getting the first pre-order (from VG+) 2/3 days after release and will use the download code Gamestop e-mails on release date. After that, I'll sell the new game from Gamestop.
Yep, I like this game that much.

I wouldn't give up hope just yet. In my experience Canadians get most of the pre-order perks that they do in the States. I'm not going to panic until the game is actually available for pre-order here. So far Best Buy/FutureShop, Amazon.ca, and Gamestop.ca aren't listing it, though.

I think there's a decent possibility we'll be able to get the voucher, at least from Gamestop/EB.

Sorry guys, I am a newbie with this voucher thing.. So if I go to Gamestop tomorrow and preorder do I need to say something about the voucher then? Or will they know what I am talking about? Or do I get the code on release day when I pick it up at Gamestop? Sorry, just a bit confused. Is the code on the receipt? Thanks!

It usually is on a card the size of the manual. They more than likely wont have them in yet. And usually get them a couple weeks before the game comes out, or even close to when the game comes out. They should have them for you when you pick up the game. But have the clause of "supplies are limited".

Oh great...I never do preorders but just did so at my local Gamestop and now I keep reading they tend to not have the code ready at time of pickup...should I cancel it and do a preorder at Best Buy? Is BB known to do a better job with codes?

Some have issues some don't. A few I have been to over the course of several years, just don't care about it. Just annoying that you have to be on top of your game, and they don't rubber band them to the pre-orders ahead of time. If you forget, they will forget. But as I said, this is my experience, others are different.

I do know BB has a case on the shelf with codes inside you can walk home the day you pre-order, then use the code when the game comes out.

They scan the pre-order case, and the card is inside.

Sweet. Just pre-ordered at Best Buy. Nice way of using the stadiums as free pre-order incentives instead of charging extra in a collector's edition or as DLC.

(Though I assume they'll be selling these later as DLC for people who missed out.)

did you pre order at the store or online? If you went to the store, did they give you the voucher right there?
