NBA Live 10 Patch #2 Available For 360 & PS3, Post Impressions Here

The second patch for NBA Live 10 is now available for 360 and PS3 owners. Please post your impressions here.

EDIT: Adding what the patch addresses:

-Addressed goaltending issue to ensure that when a goaltending foul is received while blocking a dunk that the correct points are allocated.
-Addressed an issue ensuring that Ranked Online match forced to have fatigue set on.
-Fine tuned 3 point % completion rates to reduce the likelihood of successes to more realistic values
-Addressed an Injury Removal issue, where adding inured players to the starting lineup and attempting to sub them off was unsuccessful.

With the three point issue, the team worked to make the three point percentage more realistic based on tuning the shot release, defender proximity, player skill and distance from the basket. This was a key issue that the community asked be addressed and the development team took the extra time to ensure that three point shooting is more realistic.

all those times spent to find what was fixed is now a wasted, seriously screw you EA PPL! I am playing my 2k now! Disappointment followed disappoitnment! ENOUGH!

Yea that's because in this game you can play good d in the paint out of the box with bodying up opp players, that there is not a ******** help d and the field goal percentages are neat, and most of the basics of a bball game is pretty much there and lot more. Now just because the competition game has released a patch full of new canned animations proves that they sucked pretty badly at first and even after the patch, there is more issues that they really need to fix, because live is pretty good out of the box already, they made some touches here and there and here ya go, with all the new dna updates it's getting better,too. Now i believe they give all their energy to live 11 on the basis of live 10.

If you can't see the potential, you just can't.

I know that wasn't the full patch, but IMO it made the game playable again for me. I can only speak for myself and it seems that the game has improved since that disaster of a first patch.

sounds like what EA really needs to do is add fatigue based on the number of shots taken. the more shots, the more tired that player gets, make the 3pt rating of the player decrease based off fatigue. doesnt seem that hard does it? IMO though, this is still a great game if you're offline, i cant vouch for anything online because i dont touch sports games online. i still think Live 10 doesnt get the credit it deserves though because is seems most of the gripes only affect the online side of the game. but ive yet to find a game that, to me, depicts the game of basketball better. now, lets hope they add some animations for next year and just add some little touches.

I agree that with the last patch, the game plays much better. I can't wait for this next patch to fix what went missing in patch #2.

Default Settings - Superstar Level - 10 minute quarters and running real plays! This game is great and the CPU is very challenging...This is a must try and enjoy!

Even with this being a final patch, I've seen different color palettes on the jerseys, more animations and a much more smooth level of game play feel to it. Not to mention seems like DNA is finally working.

Just did my Dynamic Season game against the Knicks and man it was great and seeing the CPU run on fast breaks and look for open players is a thing of beauty. Not to mention I switched off a player and let my team mate defend the ball handlers and he drew a charge. Very nice! Even with a few things I've yet to find, but continue to read in this thread.

This game is finally right and good enough to enjoy for me, loving this game.

I want to agree, but I am a ps3 user, we dont' have a patch yet!

Problem is NOT from EA. Sony screwed up and applied the wrong patch to the NA region. I think people need to cut EA some slack.

I agree, but mistakes like this always gives every the reason for more EA bashing, amazing Europe gets it right and US doesn't.

Why not blame Sony since they are the ones who place it on the servers?

But, doesnt EA have to submit the patch? So they submitted two for certification? I dont know who the blame is on...not really blaming anyone because it will only make the game better. i'm not trading the game in and NBA season is not at All Star break yet

It is worth getting. Just don't make the mistake in getting both games. Both are so well done it is hard to love one more that the other, though Live is the one I reach for first everytime.

I just played a DS game last night, Thunder (me) v. Lakers (cpu) and the Lakers were pushing the ball everytime they got the chance. They ended up with 16 fb pts to my 20. Def getting better.

Just played one quick match ranked game. Very enjoyable experience. Neither my opponent or I attempted very many 3's so cant comment on glitch being fixed. I don't even know how to hit from the hot spots.

I played as the Hornets in a ranked online match against the Celtics. He was just trying to jack up 3's or inbounding it to half court trying to go for the quick bucket. I won 62-42. He was 2/12 from 3 and I was 4/6 from 3. It seems like no more running with any shooter to the corner and making 3's.
