NBA 2K10 Q&A: Retail Copy in Hand

I and a few others were lucky enough to attend the NBA 2K10 launch party here in NYC.

We were given full copies of the game and are willing to answer questions.

The only thing I'm going to tell you guys right now:

NO QUESTIONS ABOUT RATINGS. We already post them in the NBA 2K10 screenshots section.

mo i noticed the headband changes but can you make clevelands headbands white at home?...and the do the warriors wear orange headbands at home??

Again, you cannot make headbands a specific color, you can only choose if they wear them or not. If you choose the "yes" option under Headband the game will automatically pick the color for you. So if I choose yes for LeBron to wear a headband, he will wear one and it will change colors depending on the jersey I chose.

So no, you can't technically make their headband anything, but they will wear white at home if you want them to wear headbands.

It's good to see that the accessories and sneakers seem to change with the jerseys, but I'm wondering for the life of me why 2K has the Cavs wearing red headbands at home. It makes no sense at all (not trying to change this into a headband thread). The games looks and sounds great.

Everyone of those pictures is @ the Staples Center. The Cavs are not the home team.

I'm not seeing it but I didn't see it much in the DC either. I do not feel as if I'm struggling to control my player as much as in the DC.

i dont get the whole headband thing sorry.but if the the game choses what kind of headband they wear then how can you make clevland have whit headbands at home?im confused.

have you seen any signs of animations that suck the defender in that could be abusable (ex. hesitation step back, behind the back riding animation)

pleasee tell me there toned down

Because the headbands are obviously coded to match the primary color of the jersey. If Cleveland wears a white home jersey then the headband will be white.

On second thought, the game doesn't pick the correct colors depending on the jersey. You guys are right, just started a game with the Cavs @ home and they are wearing red headbands. The away jerseys seem right though.

so i supose there must be no way to choose white-for-home black-for-away sleeves???damn!i found those away ones pretty ugly!

please, would u mind to check if they fixed long socks length??

One of the you guys said the Cavs wear red headbands at home and it's also evident in the video.

if the headbands are coded then why are they wearing red headbands at home in the new OS video?? and i hope the 2kinsider fixes it like how he did with the home and away shoes cause if everythings coded then the warriors will wear blue headbands with blue jerseys which is wrong they wear orange with the blue jerseys and blue with the orange ones...i dont know why 2k just handles this...that is part of authenticity...and mo if it aint too much can you post pics of monta jack and steph curry and anthony randolph..thanks...
