To the people complaining about lighting and textures, have you actually been to an NBA game? Im just asking because there jerseys aren't shiny except the wizards gold jersey and maybe a few others and while the lights are brighter that in 2k the players aren't. Thats the difference between 2k and the competition it looks more realistic. camera lighting is what makes them look bright on the tv but if you go to a game and you actually step on a court ( i did so in college) then you will realize you dont glow either, lol.
Loved the trailer by the way. And I agree the combine showed me all i needed to know that this game will be much improved over last years game.

And the lighting is terrible. If they got a new lighting model next year the difference would be huge. The Show is a great example of this... 2k's game right now reminds me a The Show 08, where it looked good but dull lighting really took away from the game. The Show 09 however... looks stunning. And from what I learned at Sony, the lighting model is a HUGE part in this.

I don't agree. The colors have obviously been off (see the Lakers court wood color) but the lighting is noticeable IMMEDIATELY.
Plus if it were something they were doing, you'd see it being marketed everywhere.

dont know why everyone is complaining about that hesitation crossover like its unguardable.. just unlock after the first cross and u wont get sucked in2 the 2nd crossover

That video was slightly wack in that it looks EXACTLY like 2K9 with the exception of faces and some new animations. A 'teaser' is no tease when it looks like the same game we've played for the past year. If I hadn't played the combine, I wouldn't be intrigued to see more. Its gameplay vid, demo or bust for me right now.

In my opinion, they should have fixed it. We'll have to see.
I think peoples expectations for 2K are WAY too high. We're getting a little out of hand with our opinions at this early stage.

Lack of gameplay vids,shouldn't be enough for u to change sides.Really its what you prefer.Truley Live looks great,but I'm 2k all the way.Because if history proves itself 2K has been putting out solid games every year,they haven't beeen perfect,but solid.Yes the compettion iss putting out a lot of vids,the same as last year.EA always drive up the hype meter on people every year,that's nothing new.But 2k gameplay just feels right to me ,like I said it's what you prefer.Wether it's 2K or the other,it,s what you prefer. Much respect to the Live Developers!
something i just noticed in this trailer...the bench has head tracking this year! im not sure if that was in last year but its in this year!
if you go to gametrailers and play to the :35 sec mark the players on the bench were tracking the ball as Rose shoots the three.
