Game looks crazy, when are they planning on bringing out more screenshots and 5 on 5 gameplay.

Why is everyone complaining??? It's just a game, take it for what it is. Looks good IMO.
So that's two teasers out of the way...we have one more before the real trailer shows up? I'm guessing the next teaser will be sig facial expressions with Bron puffing his cheeks after a monster dunk....
Be objective, fair and just consider that a polished version of 2k9 may very well end being not only the best basketball game of the year, but the best basketball game ever ! ...
If the combine is a sample of 2k10 then im not impress after 2k9 i think it would be worth more for 2k to advertise there game better so we have more reasons to purchase 2k10 this is the same route that happen last year and 2k9 wasnt to impressive
To be honest, and I played 2K9 LIKE CRAZY - This looks the same and nothing special based on the fact that we ALL know that 2K BRINGS IT when it comes to animation. It's been the same deal for the past couple years, that I remember, but once you get used to playing the game and u see the same thing, year after year, it becomes less and less impressive and, actually, disappointing coming from a talented group like 2KSports.
Now, that being said, I understand it's a teaser yet this is the SECOND teaser that really shows NOTHING in the face of what EA has been overwhelming us with for Live 10. If you look at it like that, which I am, this further adds to my feeling of "2K10 is REALLY not impressing me..."
I also understand that marketing plays a part in this and it may actually boil down to marketing dollars. Maybe 2KSports just doesn't have the capital behind it for stronger marketing. I can understand that because I know how it can be in the corporate world but I'm just wondering does it actually cost money just to show some actual gameplay footage??? I mean, really. Throw something at one of these websites, post something on youtube, SOMETHING.
Then we have the 2K10 Combine which actually makes me cringe a bit although I enjoy playing it because it just seems like 2K9 all over again, which was a great game, overall...but still, I have to wonder how much different the actual 2K10 game will be than the combine in terms of gameplay.
I have a strong feeling I will either just play the 2K10 demo and say whatever as I jump back into the Live 10 demo or when the actual game drops, I MAY just rent it as a side bar to my actual Live 10 purchase...maybe. Lol
Bottomline is that I am just not enthused about this game based on the info and these weak 'teaser' trailers and I'm actually a bit disappointed in 2K in the face of a competitor that seems like they may actually steal their thunder, this year...yet I digress because I have yet to play ANY of Live 10, demo or otherwise, or 'the reals' of 2K10 and not that damn combine. 2K may have something very special in store for us...maybe...

Cool teaser. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't like the sound effect that was thrown in during the steals, and wasn't a big fan of the white dissolves. Would've liked to have seen more standard edits. I liked the signature freeze frame thing, but it was brought in kind of late for a rhythmic repetition. Might have been a stronger theme if used as a bookend.
This thread has been a mess with the talk of marketing(from people who have been through this year after year), the discussions of Live and what not. I guess you can't underestimate how people will act when they are frustrated, but the bad apples are definitely spoiling the bunch these days. As soon as 2k puts out a teaser, you know exactly what form the same old tired complaints are going to take. And just like every year, it doesn't matter because 2k will release a demo and a bunch of gameplay featurettes before the game releases. It's even more irrelevant on this hardcore site, where most people buy the game every year anyway.
The biggest joke of it all is that the more the hardcore fans complain about 2k's marketing, the more the game seems to sell. I could stomach it if people were actually discussing the nuts and bolts of the marketing, but they are really just whining about not getting what they want.

Bornindamecca love ya work mate, i don't mind the teasers at all, they do the same thing every year, live always brings out the new features because they have been behind the last few years and are trying to get people excited about NBA basketball games and also about their live 10 game, and honestly i'll buy both this year as i always do because they both have something to offer that the other doesn't

. But I haven't heard anything about until now. Just wierd that it appears to still be there. Hopefully its been scrapped...I know it can be rather easily.

Well at least come october 6 you will all have a copy of NBA 2K10, i live in australia and i won't have it till early november, so all the teasers that come out is all i have, so as long as they keep dropping these vids and maybe later in the month a 5v5 gameplay vid i'm happy

Back on-topic, I'm ****ing loving this short teaser. Obviously, it isn't anything in-depth but it showed plenty of interior animations involving small guards. Graphics look similar to last year, but that is perfectly fine IMO. Oh, and it appears as though the Hawks rock navy-blue headbands with their road uni's, hopefully that means they've gone back and changed/improved the colors of all (colored) headbands.
