I think this is new this year. Wasn't this in the Combine? Home and away colors?

My thoughts exactly.

This game will be a day one purchase for me. The trailer looks great. Yet, the marketing sucks. At this point, 5-on-5 gameplay vids would be nice.

At any rate, I can't wait until the game comes out.

Exactly.

But yeah, you're not the only one disappointed with 2K in general. This trailer was better than the Kobe one by a mile, but I still could care less about teasers. I just don't think that particular criticism is fair.
Co-sign Stumble. It's a video highlighting D Rose. You think they are going to show him getting swatted and ripped. Maybe if they do a video of Pau Gasol executing all the post moves they can show him getting ripped, blocked, and turning the ball over on double teams in every possession. For heaven's sake.........

The lack of desire to play madden combined w/ the appetizer that was the combine has me extra anxious some gameplay vids man lol and i usually the patient one...

Let this be the only warning: Cut the personal jabs at each other and leave it off the boards. The "clicks" are not welcome here.

2k has been doing the same thing the past two years. Waiting till the last moment to drop serious info/gameplay. I think they think it's been working so why fix it. It's annoying as hell though for us.
Gameplay looked very similar to last year. There isn't that quantum leap for this game like there is for Live (though Live has had a lot more to improve.) The demos and the final bits of info/gameplay will be the determining factors for me. Still giving 2k the edge because of their history.

Nice trailer, but the only thing I would like to see from 2k is a little better marketing, every year it the same, wait till September, give teaser, wait till September 20th to show off game play on Gamespot, then Demo and then release..Repeat. Not being negative but just think, the Live demo is less then 2 days, 2k has not even shown game play yet. But I like that this is the first year since, well never, that both games will be about equal.

Agreed with the 2k strategy to drop the 411 at the last minute. I disagree with you where I bolded. After 2K9 you should be a little wary of what 2k might deliver for this version.

They still plan on dropping a demo before the game?

They always do.

On topic - That no look pass was the best part of the vid to me. Would have loved to have seen them redo D-Rose dropping Andre Miller

Off topic - Some of you really need to worry about getting the game and getting good at it instead of worrying about the company's marketing strategy. YOU know the game is coming out, isn't that all that matters?

Red card me, but it had to be said.

Something I notice is that this move only works if you are holding the look down defense button or if you let the CPU play on ball defense for you... not saying it shouldnt be toned down because it shouldnt suck you in like that...

I said the SAME EXACT THING but DC and others disagree. I know what they are talking about, but if you're not locked down, you can fight your way out of it and recover. It does "suck you in" though.

I figured that out a while ago but it was one of those things where I'd tell u if u ask but wasn't gonna volunteer any info, feel me? lol

Whenever I saw someone setting that move up I'd just release the L trigger and back up. It negated that black hole affect...

You can't see the scoreboard in the video, but AA Arena got a nice new HD video board.

Looks good but exactly like 2K9 imo. Hate to see the suck in animations from rose and rondo.
