Looks nice. Still don't care about this type of promotion... means basically nothing to me. I'll keep waiting.

Great animations, some little things Pared already mentioned, nice. One thing missing, those advertised facial animations, where are they?

Gameplay "looks" sick....I want to see full 5 on 5 gameplay before I say 2K has taken things to another level. The brand of marketing they are using is terrible.

Mmh, at least something, but cum' on 2k it's about damn time to give us somehting more concrete to judge. We want to be excited about the 10th version of NBA 2k...so please give us a reason...

# 25 Super Glock @ 09/08/09 02:46 PM
Ok now that trailer actually got me very excited for this game!!! Looks very nice.

2K has to speed things up, EA Live has already put out teasers and gameplay videos and a demo is coming very soon. NBA2K10 is just now putting out a second teaser. The game will be released in a month???? More info and gameplay videos...

If you look, it was in the first dunk by Rose.

Also, the teaser appears to have been made from a few different builds. You can tell by the generic kicks Rose is wearing in some of the cuts, then he is wearing the new adidas kicks in the other cuts.

Were slowly getting to gameplay. 2k is like a turtle but it is better than them not showing us anything. I liked it and looking forward to the 6th.

Rose's face looked alot more expressive then it did in 2k9.

I thought that initially too, but he only has those kicks on with the away jersey, which could mean they are just the away sneakers that are assigned to him, and not just a different build. Could be either or though.

They got Arenas & Rose spot on IMO.
The moves looked nice and fluid.
That crossover animation from 2k9 is still ehh..but all in all good vid. enjoyed it more than the KB24 video.

Video was whack! We are too long into development for a teaser, it's time for game play videos already!

I think the graphics look about the same, animations are nice as always! That has never been 2k's downfall, their animations are always nice. I still see poor defense and unstoppable PG!

Now if 4 defenders on 1 short guy and he still gets by, impresses people then I'm shocked. What happened to defense A.I. one of the biggest complaints about 2k9. Now we see a video of D. Rose crossing over and dunking on everyone. Even Perkins didn't slap his **** into the bleechers, he just sat there and took a body shot, in reality, Perkins would have laid Rose on his backside on the court. We need to see more body contact on those plays and fouls.

I wasn't expecting much, but overall I guess I'm the only guy not impressed and really wanting to see more at this point. 5 on 5 and that new commentary that is added. I want to see that!

2k is the King of Presentation and animations no doubt. But they are still slacking in details and graphics. But I really want to hear that damn commentary, they got me excited about that.

Very impressive teaser and I'm sure that's just light work. @ about the 26 second mark where D. Rose is driving past the Warriors, it looks almost like real life action...real slick! That last dunk was crazy 2!

One thing I've been wanting 2K 2 give an option 2 change (and I realize this isn't a big deal...totally cosmetic) the color of accessories (sleeves and bands especially) based on whether ur home or away. Like Ray Allen...he wears white sleeves @ home and black away. It just LOOKS better. Again, it's not that serious but it'd be nice 2 have that option...

@ The Unbiased sports gamer

But I do agree with him, nothing more than a teaser. Can't wait for more

Much like the Live videos that were criticized for not showing any defense, I don't think it's really fair to level that critique on a highlight package trailer meant to show off D-Rose, who is as much of an offensive player as they come. It was probably on lower difficulty to make capturing easier as well..

But yeah, you're not the only one disappointed with 2K in general. This trailer was better than the Kobe one by a mile, but I still could care less about teasers. I just don't think that particular criticism is fair.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love the game but 2K has some of the ****tiest marketing ever. That goes for all of their games.

Anyway, sim....i know you have to be browsing this...its imperitive that step back cross is taken out or serously toned man....im hoping this is like the Superbad trailer, where the Mclovin joke was excluded from the movie lol Other then that...game looks fluid man..

# 39 Jano @ 09/08/09 03:20 PM
Another nice teaser it was better than the Kobe one, but I can't wait for some the 5 on 5 gameplay vids.

LOL. You are complaining about poor defense in a teaser highlight video? Really? Its posts like this that dissapoint me the most about OS now. You have been here for over 4 yrs and by now you know how 2k rolls out promotion for this game. We are 4 weeks away from release and you and EVERYBODY knows that we will get flooded with long trailers and gameplay videos once we hit the 3 week mark.

It happens every year.
