Not really a Franchise/Association mode person BUT this amazing customization will really help player editing. Amazing...and without feeding into the graphics arguement, I could care less about graphics at this point. Graphical improvements that is. JUST FIX GAMEPLAY. 2K9 in HD was awesome.

MC...already anticipating the trailers man.

# 172 gluck24 @ 07/29/09 11:34 AM
its only screen shots right now but if u remeber last year evryone said 2k9 looked just like 2k8 from the screen shots but then we saw the gameplay and the graphics were much improved.. we'll just have to wait till early to mid september to see how they look

Looking at those screenshots, it looks like with the drift left and drift right shots, you'll actually be able to shoot in a way different than a straight-up shot or a slow fade-away like last year.

nice spot marcoyk

thats the one thing that annoyed me on 2k9, when running to the side of the basket your guys woudl always stop, balance then jump to shoot, instead of just doing a sideways jump straight off like in live.

if they ad that, and this new my player mode which looks great, then im already buying it no matter what else.

cant wait for september now

finally a career mode in a basketball game. Hopefully this is huge

I just hope that in that My Player mode we don't have any type of control over anyone else beside our player. I hope the scouting is also harder where we don't have a clue about prospects. Want to make scouting a real hit or miss. On another note, with the drifting, I would assume that they implemented more contact within the game. Momentum would have to be one aspect to get those drifting. I just hope that contact is also a factor. I wonder if the defense is improved also?

You know. He almost got me and then I smartened up.

It's one of those immersion type features ala NCAA Football's Teambuilder (only that was free). Helps to create hype for the game and most importantly, kill time leading up to the game.

gluck could be the next hnndavis
