It's nothing personal, but, geez, if someone posted slightly negative impressions of the game over and over on every single page of hundred plus page threads, they would be banned for sure. I would think your enthusiasm would be tempered just a bit this year after hyping Madden 09 like you were getting paid by the post last year. Only later to tire of the game and praise Madden 09 PS2 as the new be all and end all. Sorry if I'm raining on your parade, but just like last year I can't read a new page on these thread without one or two posts by you. It's supposed to be an IMPRESSIONS thread, not a chance for you to prove your undying love and loyalty for the Madden series on every page. Sorry, someone had to say it.

Uh, I hate to jump in to this, but it doesn't matter whether or not he praised Madden 09 or even Madden 08.

That is how HE felt about the game and he is giving HIS impressions in the correct thread. Regardless to if it sounds like hype or not, that is how He feel. And Madden 09 was the first GOOD game on the next-gen consoles IMO.

For someone stating it's nothing personal, your three long winded post stalking him sure seems it's personal.

Please, take some of your own medicine as well. Calling out people fanboys in your past post history doesn't give you a credible track record with your last three posts.

My advise is to take it up in PM instead of cluttering personal issues in an impressions thread.

Plus, you said you can't go by an impression page without seeing a post by him. He already gave you a simple solution for that. Put him on ignore.

nothing concrete that I know of. The only thing I remember Ian saying was the version the demo is compared to the final build is a difference of 2-3 weeks of tuning.

You saw the post I called "fanboy" on, a 1000 word rant with no paragraphs 500 WORDS IN ALL CAPS, filled with profanity and 2k sucks all over it.

You implying that my posting history is filled with calling people fanboys is just a distortion/lie. If I wanted to call "fanboy", I would have hundreds of posts to choose from. That post you referred to is just so hysterical I couldn't resist, it was the ultimate fanboy post, it should be put in a time capsule it was so good.

Can the fumble pileup mini-game be turned off in the final build? For some reason I keep thinking that I read that it has an option where it can be turned off.

I have played both demo's a ton and have not seen anything like these videos are showing. These are one off things, and hopefully won't detur the people on this board from getting the game. The game is leaps and bound better than anything that has been out put since madden 2001, and is extremely close to matching NFL 2k5.

First, I think there is no need for caps lock, do you?

No, NCAA is played very fast and Madden is now trying to be realistic to the speed of the NFL. If you want to up the speed, there will be a slider for game speed.

I'm hoping that there isnt an issue with returning FG's for TD's. I've taken 2 back (the only two I've had a chance at) on All-Madden. Guess it depends on the CPU logic.

Still enjoying the demo though

I just played the gamestop demo and the game seems good BUT one major thing is the steelers couldn't rush on me worth a CRAP. Even worse than typical CPU rushing and far worse than the NCAA cpu rushing. I think willie parker had 15 carries for like 2 yards, LOL. Glad I play mostly online but man that sucks for offline players if that is the way the final game plays.

This years game will include CPU sliders to help that out, I hope. I know that's the way it was last year.

Yeah I returned one earlier tonight that won the game. And I just took another one back at the end of the first half. It seems that nobody on the kicking team realizes until its too late that someone is returning the missed field goal. And when they do they take horrible angles to get to the ball carrier.

I agree. I am reallying liking the demo and the new speed although Normal may be a bit better but we'll see when the game comes out.

Awesome awesome demo. But first let me run through my problem. So Midnight this morning i decided to download the 1 qaurter demo first. As that was downloading i then put in the code for the gamestop exclusive.

So i notice that they're both the same size. Anyway, i go get a snack and come back and in my active downloads i have nothing. I get into the demo, wanting to play the gamestop one first. The first thing i notice is that in my games space theres only 1 demo instead of two, but that didn't draw my attention too much. I get into the game and its only the 1 min qaurter one, i was dazzled, where was the gamestop one?? I went back to my games and there was still only one demo there.

I then went to my harddrive and looked it up, and it said i downloaded both, so i decided to delete the demo, once i did that, the gamestop one came in, so in conclusion; we can't have both demos???

On the game itself, awesome awesome awesome. I must say, the first big difference is definitely the speed of the game as well as the momentum. The players really do feel like they have weight to them and you do see and feel them cutting every move instead of magically turning on the a dime.

The graphics have definitely improved as well as the player models which really makes everything stand out. So does the individual QB stances. The demo did have faults like clipping in some sections, but thats to be expected. I'm very satisfied with the overal qaulity though. The game has really come a good way from 09. The pocket really does exist and the rumbling feature even though subtle really helps.

I'm not going to nitpick every little thing, the game is awesome and i can't wait to start my franchise and get some games online.
