Well, color me impressed. I am very pleased with the demo. This is the first time I have actually enjoyed playing a Madden game on this gen of consoles.
I have played 3 games of the GS demo on the PS3 and a few games of the regular demo on the 360. I won one superbowl as the Steelers (21-14) and just had a game end in a tie as the Cowboys (7-7).
I like how many errant and/or overthrown passes I have seen from me and the CPU. There are a lot of little things to like, such as when I challenged a play watching my coach throw out the red flag. I have seen pro-tak show up in quite a few instances and I really like it, it is not overdone at all. Also fatigue looks to be implemented properly. I have had 2 fight for the fumbles. That is not my cup of tea. Maybe at 32 I am too old for the button mashing but I think I'll put that on auto in the retail version. All in all, I cannot wait to get my hands on the final version and start an offline franchise. This might actually get me to stop playing MLB The Show 09.
Also, I am trying to figure out any graphical differences between PS3 and 360. Has anyone played the demos on both platforms? I may be comparing apples to oranges with the GS demo on PS3 and the regular demo on 360. The GS demo maybe is a bit older, I say this because the players on the sideline all have 00 as the number and in the regular demo they don't? The biggest difference I have noticed is the reflections in the helmets look much better on the 360 regular demo. Not sure if this is a difference in build, a difference in weather conditions, or just that the 360 does it better. Small, yes, but I still noticed.

This game expresses football at a level that is satisfactory to me. Is it perfect? Far from it. Is the gameplay better than that of 2k8? Still yet to be seen but it is quite close. But with that being said, I can not wait until August 14th!

CBA to look through all the pages in this thread but one thing that really bugged me last year was when I was manually controlling a DE, it was near impossible to get a sack, even with the elite lineman, any improvement seen in the demo?

The fatigue is really well done...love how there are so many degrees of fatigue for each player.
the game is wayyy too slow. i hope its faster when we play online (or give us an option). otherwise, GP is good. its a lot harder on offense which is better. cheezers be gone
I've played two games of the Gamestop PS3 version and just played my first of the Giants/Cowboys version on the XBOX 360. Giants/Cowboys version seems much more polished. I was considering cancelling my preorder but I'm quite impressed now. I think I'm going to move my preorder to XBOX 360 though.

someone mentioned this demo was BEFORE some pass rush tweaks? the CPU's pocket is way too good...thats truly my ONLY gripe..

The Giants/Cowgirls demo is only up for gold members right now
Your officially the corneyest person in the thread.............LMAO
Is anyone planning on uploading the gamestop demo in a zipped file to fileshack or somewhere like that?
It's just that I am in Australia and for some reason they have not released the 360 demo for gold members here.
