Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

They have both sets of codes at the Gamestop in midwest city, which is weird, because a couple of days ago they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.

I called a Gamestop out here in Connecticut and they have the codes available. He said for the people who pre-ordered Madden 10 online will get theirs via e-mail.

Picked mine up in Columbus, NE. Anyone in the Lincoln/Omaha area, call your GS or get out there because they're definitely out there if they're here in Columbus.

The guy who was working the register told me they weren't active when I asked but I asked if I could get mine anyway. Didn't look like they had a whole lot. Cashier asked for my receipt (which I luckily had) and my ID so I guess some stores are making sure only people who preorder get the code.

Got mine just now. She seemed to have codes aplenty. There is no way in Hades that they had that many people preorder Madden in Beaumont Texas, so I would assume running out isn't going to be a problem.

For those of you that ordered online I just called customer service and they said the codes will be emailed sometime today.

Just a quick note in case other people are in the same boat. When I initially signed up with gamestop I didn't check the box to allow gamestop to send me emails. So even though I could sign onto my account with my email address, I'm not sure that means gamestop has my email on file. I checked it now, so I hope I'll still get the code soon.

Yep, just called my Gamestop in St. Robert, MO and they have the codes too. I'll be picking one up on my way out to work this afternoon.

i hope the demo isnt released on xbl on the 23rd, i reserved for nothing than. Wish dude would have told me it wasnt active tell the 23rd before i gave them my money.

You still get a demo a week before people who didn't preorder and you get an extended demo. It had been pretty welll known that the cards would be before the demo was released (like with Fight Night).

Most likely. Just like airlines will give you bigger discounts the further in advance you book your flight. Pre-orders, booking in advance, etc helps businesses run more efficiently.
