Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

When I picked mine up in store, I wonder if they got a way to tell GameStop about sending me a code via email. I did in-store pick up and went to that store to pick up my code. I wonder if I'll get a second code via email since I've yet to get it. Glad to hear the majority of the news that everyone is getting. Any online orders get theirs yet?

Where have you guys been? We have been talking about this GS demo code for days now and the dates were announced by EA last week for the download date. I know one of you are a RedSkins fan and the other a Brewers. Just to give you guys a hard time that one team overpays for his players and the other is located I guess in a place where Twitter and other sites do not reach

I did my pre-order with in-store pick up and haven't received my code yet. I mind as well go to GS to get.

I wonder if the in-store GS tells GS online orders that we received ours so don't send. I doubt it because there was nothing scanned and such. Hmm, we shall see. Two codes?!

I also preordered online for the "instore pickup option". Is there any clearity that I need to wait for an email or go to my store and pick it up? this is confusing

Gamestops in the Dallas area finally got them in. I will pick mine up after work. I am anxious to see how the game has changed from last year.

Got my card today. I called first and they said they had them. Good thing - because when I got there, a different guy was working and told me that they hadn't got them yet. I asked him to check because I'd called earlier, and sure enough, they were in the 1st drawer, LOL.

Picked Mine up today

guy gave me a five pack by mistake which I didn't realize until I got home

first 4 ps3 users who pm me can get a code, but please do it if you don't have a preorder. No point using it if you can get your own, save it for those without a preorder

Recieved my code via email but the instructions are messed up. check this out :

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 from GameStop / EB Games. The GameStop exclusive demo with four 5-minute quarters, featuring a Super Bowl rematch between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals, is scheduled to go live on Thursday, July 23 by 9pm EST.

Please do not try to download the demo before 9:00 pm on Thursday July 23. Doing so will result in an error message and could possibly deactivate your demo code. Anytime after 9:00 pm on Thursday July 23 you may follow the instructions below to download your Madden NFL 10 Demo.

1. Turn on your new NCAA Football 10 video game.
2. Select TeamBuilder from the main menu.
3. When prompted, input the redeem code below.
4. Create a new customized team!

If anyone who has the actual card could post the instructions it would be very helpful.

Card says not to share your code.

Then says to create a PSN account or login using an existing one.
Go to the redeem codes icon, and enter the voucher code

Does not say anything about entering it early resulting in you not being able to download.

Thanks for the response, but i have a xbox 360. I was just looking for instructions bc i dont really know what to do with the code.

In fact the only place any date is mentioned is in fine print at the bottom

Says code is valid for one time redemption prior to Aug 14

Alright I figured out the mess. For those who recieved codes through email, all you have to do is:

In XBL marketplace, there is a reedem code button you need to go to. Then you enter your code, and the download begins.

I stopped by to check out the buy 2 get one free sale and they had the cards. I am glad I stopped because the email never would have arrived. Gamestop has gotten so big that they have reached the level of insanity almost every big company runs into.
