Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

Bro i feel your pain! mine just RRoD 2 days ago but i got it sent out a day later so i think i will be able to enjoy the demo for a few days before the release

I have the demo card. It doesn't work yet. I was told won't be active until the 23rd.

I e-mailed Gamestop and here is their reply (this was from 7/8.)

"Thank you for contacting GameStop.com.

As of now, all online reservation customers will receive an email with the demo codes sometime in late July where store reservation customers will need to pick their codes up at the store of reservation, also in late July."

The "As of now" has me somewhat concerned - as if it could change any moment? Glad to hear things are nice and organized for retail pre-order customers. I'll just cross my fingers that I'll get a code in the e-mail on July 23. It wouldn't surprise me if nothing shows up and am told we were supposed to pick it up in the store, then be told they are out of codes.

I'm thinking maybe I should go to the store tomorrow and show them my online pre-order receipt. Since Gamestop employees don't have a clue what's going on they'll probably give me a code. If they had their act together everyone would get a code on the same day (both retail on online customers) but that makes too much sense.

If I don't get it via email I will contact my GameStop and if they got it I will ask them to give me one. That's stupid if they don't.

When and where did you get your Madden demo card already? I am hoping the GameStop's are getting them today so we can be done with all this useless discussion. The information put out was very vague and unorganized.

I think it'd be wise to do it after they get shipments. I know mine gets them at noon...

I preordered yesterday 7/16/09 and they didn't have the cards in yet. Told me they'd try to call around when they come in but I'd have to come back to the store to pick it up. As long as it comes in before the demo releases (the 23rd i guess?) I don't care.

The demo codes should be coming in today in there shipments. I have called all around to stores in Orlando and Florida. All have said they expect them today.

Online orders are suppose to get emails. Not sure if they will go out to you today or not. I would call GameStop online and find out. Don't be surprised if customer service does not know.

I'm really wondering how they can possibly say that this is first come first serve ... like they have a fixed number of demo's or something? I'm gonna go over to Gamestop on my lunch break and try to pick it up today... if they don't have the codes, I won't pre-order with them.
