Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

I just called they said on the 23rd... I think it was all just hype to get people to preorder it thinking they would have the demo code this week.

Well, I just left my local GS, pre-ordered Madden, and asked about the code, but was told that they may e-mail it to us. I mentioned that they were said to have it in on the 15th, but he didn't really say anything more. I asked about them possibly having codes in store, and he said to come on in and pick it up...so I left there knowing less about it than I did going in.

Just called 4 different gamestops in my area and was told they still havent gotten them in yet. Each one knew what I was talking about but all mentioned the 23rd. Although they did say they were hoping to get the codes in later today if not within the next few days and to just keep checking in and looking on the website so...idk

I went to the GS near me to ask what the deal was-

The woman said "actually we all got an email today about it" and she read it off to me. At this particular store, they could get the codes early next week but no later than July 26th, and you have to pick them up in store. I asked if it is possible to get it emailed to me, and she said "It doesn't say anything about emailing codes, but I'll put your email down just in case"

Its kind of ridiculous that every GS is saying a different story...

Stopped by my gamestop too...

No date given, but they said they'd be calling people on the preorder list when they become available. They'll go in order of who preordered first, so I should get one easily (the store is very new and my order went in about a week or so after it opened!)

Called mine that my buddy works at and they haven't gotten them in. He said to simply, "Just keep checking in."

I've called three gamestops in Worcester, MA., all of which have had a different, vexxing story.

Could there not be a more confusingly run store in America than Gamestop? I've seriously seen Check Cashing depots that seem better run than this.

That is what is suppose to happen for the online order people. I am sure the codes will be showing up any day now for the in store preorders as well.

I read the product page today on gamestop.com and it still says late july the codes will be sent

Gamestop is not very good in updating anything including there webpages and the date for the demo was announced by EA Sports last week being the 23rd July. Most of us saw this last week.

You guys think we're the only people who pre ordered online? Take a deep breath and relax. Today is the 15th, the demo is not released yet. They have plenty of time to send you the code. It's not like you can use the code today and play the demo.

Yes but you CAN analyze the code for hidden messages that will reveal the final un-revealed modes in the game. Rumor has it, if we all post our codes into one cohesive string, spanning hundreds of forum pages, it will draw an ASCII-art bust of John Madden.

Even more weirdness to when we get our exclusive demos...

As I was in GS today i pre-odered madden and reading about this before i went, I asked when we were going to get our codes for the demo. heres the conversation...

Me: So um... When do we get the codes for the demo, i heard like there is a card for those who pre order it in the store

Clerk: Yea, we will send you an email that has the codes in it.

So i guess they are emailing the codes to those who went in-store to pre order it.

I live in Algonquin, IL so in case any of you were wondering
