Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

my friend that work at game stop just told me that they have only few cold.............. he said they are going to give out the code tomorro to those who pre order online................ he said he does not think every body is going to get the code but those who pre order online are going to get the code forsure.............. i ask him why and he said ..................... people who pre order online are very few and they pay alot of money.
i think they are going to give out the code depending on how much you paid when you pre order.

Bro i feel your pain! mine just RRoD 2 days ago but i got it sent out a day later so i think i will be able to enjoy the demo for a few days before the release

i search online and some people said they got their xbox back in ten bussiness day. i which i cant get mine that fast.

I have the demo card. It doesn't work yet. I was told won't be active until the 23rd.

I e-mailed Gamestop and here is their reply (this was from 7/8.)

"Thank you for contacting GameStop.com.

As of now, all online reservation customers will receive an email with the demo codes sometime in late July where store reservation customers will need to pick their codes up at the store of reservation, also in late July."

The "As of now" has me somewhat concerned - as if it could change any moment? Glad to hear things are nice and organized for retail pre-order customers. I'll just cross my fingers that I'll get a code in the e-mail on July 23. It wouldn't surprise me if nothing shows up and am told we were supposed to pick it up in the store, then be told they are out of codes.

I'm thinking maybe I should go to the store tomorrow and show them my online pre-order receipt. Since Gamestop employees don't have a clue what's going on they'll probably give me a code. If they had their act together everyone would get a code on the same day (both retail on online customers) but that makes too much sense.

thats been my plan. i dont buy **** from gamestop.

the only reason im reserving it there is because of this demo.
