Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

Yeah. I picked mine up for the ps3 and wasnt able to download it. it kept on saying that the code was invalid or mistyped.

There was no mention of using the code on July 23rd. The Gamestop rep didnt even mention anything. Has anyone been able to download the Demo on the PS3?

I called GS this afternoon and they told me they had them and also that you wouldn't be able to use it until the demo is released in the morning of the 23rd.
I went to the store about 30 minutes later and they gave me the card and again said that I can't use it until the morning of the 23rd. It was pretty obvious they were told to tell people this, I assume to lime the number of questions/complaints from people.

Well it's a good thing I stopped by to check this thread or else I never would have known they released them on cards instead of through email...seems a stupid move to me. If I go tomorrow will they still have codes? It doesn't seem like my local GS is ever terribly busy nore do most non forum goers probably even know about the exclusive demo. Anyone know so that I can calm down and know that I didn't miss out on something special?

Called gamestop tonight, said they got the demo codes in and I can just pick one up tomorrow.

I shall be there promptly at 10AM

just got my code at 9pm central time glad they got them codes and start sendoign them out now just play ncaa till 23rd when the demo comes out at 9pm cant wait to play madden

I had pre-ordered online a couple months ago, but I re-did it today to get the free shipping. I was worried that I might miss out on a demo code if they are limited for online purchases. No worries, I just got my code!

Sorry I haven't read the whole thread but the instructions say I need to open up NCAA 10 to download the demo??? Is that right? I dont own NCAA. I thought Id just redeem the code on XBL.

no you dont need ncaa. it is a mistake. all u need to do is redeem the code on xbl marketplace.

In case anyone still needs the correct instructions (for those who got the TeamBuilder instructions by accident), this is what it says on my card:

So that TeamBuilder stuff is just mumbo jumbo and irrelevant to the code? Cool beans....was confused for a bit.

so i went to two Gamestops today ( both are like a mile between one another)

Gamestop 1: We will send you an email of when we have the codes, then you can come in and pick it up.

Gamestop 2: We will email you the codes.

So... that helped alot
