Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

Went to game stop this morning and the guy said they don't get the codes till the 23rd. SMH. Now I have to find another gamestop to look for.

Also is ebgames doing this as well? I know they are affiliated now but I didn't hear of anyone going there and getting a code.

you have to go pick it up if you chose in-store pick-up, I believe. Just seems like common sense to me. But hey GS doesn't have alot of common sense so you may just get a email.

I preordered online for instore pickup and recieved my code via email. Idk what is going on with online customers, best bet is to call ur store and try to convince them to give u a code. just glad i got mines

I just got an email not long ago about the demo situation. They said if I give the order confirmation number for proof, then they can send me one.

What's up with the instructions? Please tell me you do not have to have NCAA 10 to play the special demo.

In case anyone still needs the correct instructions (for those who got the TeamBuilder instructions by accident), this is what it says on my card:

Just got mine via email. By the way I ordered online to be picked up at the store and didnt have to pay anything upfront for the preorder. Cant wait for this thing to drop on the 23rd

I don't feel like running out to preorder this. If anyone gets an extra code and doesn't mind hooking me up I'd appreciate it. I wasn't too impressed with the NCAA demo, but I'm not too big on college football anyways. I really hope Madden delivers this year.

Just got back getting a code from a gamestop further from my house because the guy at the one actually by my house said he couldn't give me a code until Thursday. This thing wasn't organized very well, lol. Oh well at least I'll get the demo.

Got my code in Hurst, TX today. Apparently I was the first person to come and pick up a code because initially the guy handed me a shrinkwrapped packet of 10 or so code cards. The other employee caught it though.

Entering the code, can this really deactivate the code? Just wondering because I gave my extra code to someone and they entered it now I think and just wondering if it's "invalid" now.

I got lucky...

Picked up NCAA 10 today at Gamestop, and because of this the guys there were pushing the preorder on Madden down my throat. I lied and told them I reserved the game at another Madden, and he'd asked if I had gotten my preorder code. I acted naive, and said that I had forgetten to pick it up.

After the purchase was finished, the guy gave me a card with the preorder code to save me from driving to the other Gamestop. I wasn't looking to scam them, I will pick up Madden but I didn't really feel the need to preorder it. So I guess I have something to look forward to Thursday now.
