For what I see the defense needs to boosted. I guess it will be okay offline cause adjust the sliders but online it will be a scoring feast..

My only issue is the fact that it was such a high scoring game. That of course has to do with pass rush and the fact that the defenses stink. Or it could do with maybe the fact that Ian is a really good offensive madden player and a really bad defensive madden player

But, It looks beautiful. And the presentation is tons better. I am through nitpicking with that stuff.

2nd vid...2:10 in...how does Ray Rice get caught by a DE on a screen. Is it the fact that the CPU doesn't use speed burst?

Oh we NEED sliders for online franchises. That's a biggie in determining whether that aspect of the game takes off...

I guess the running animations that we see on these videos are the same ones we're going to see on Aug 14? Hmmm I think i'll pass on this game. That aspect of the game just sticks out like a sore thumb. Sorry, I try to look past it but can't. Don't get me wrong , Madden has made some strides but the running animations are just awful. Plain and simple.
Seeing Chris Johnson run like that almost made me fling my monitor through the wall.
It's not real seeing a runningback run through the defense with his back perfectly straight . On top of that , he's running with these slow / long strides.

Atleast backbreaker is coming out.

I was hoping to avoid searching the internet all day for decent sliders, but I knew that wasn't realistic on my part. I'd LOVE for Ian's next full game to be a game that he actually loses. And not by pick 6 either.

Respect? Respect will come in the form of $60 in the sone of the harshest economic times the US has ever had. If you think its wrong for consumers to demand more out a product, then you crack me up.

As far as patting guys on the back for doing their job. I sure hope you start with the armed forces, teachers, firefighters, police officers and doctors/nurses before you got down to video game developers.

Adem will send you the rest via email, but here are my initial thoughts on the first half pass rush. I'm not going to talk about run defense too much I'll send that. But pass rush. Front four pressure of both teams showed nothing. KVB gave us the only front 4 pressure of the first half on a half line jet stunt (even though it was not run correctly, I'll take it) at the 4:17 mark of video 3. I don't even know who Terrell Suggs, or Jevon Kearse are? And barring that one play KVB was absent as well. No pressures/hurries by the front 4. QB's chillin in the pocket. Suggs is completely absent in the first half. No pressures, swallowed up by the run ect., Ngata and Pryce did some good against the run. Not against the pass. The best defensive series IMO was your first one when you ran the 44. That first play was great baring one thing, Thorton the play side OLB just stands there and waits for Heap to block him (you are going to see a lot of this in the feedback because it is sticking out like a sore thumb). He's gotta step and collision with Heap, not wait for Heap. Other than that that play looked great.

On your first TD run with Johnson, that's that CD bug. The SS Nakamura he just slides inside for no reason and then waits to get scooped up by the blocker. They are leaving the outsides open. If the game ships like that this is going to be a huge problem. There is alot more but I don't want to get into it here.

If you seriously expect Backbreaker to be a Sim football game, you are going to be very disappointed. Backbreaker Devs already said that Madden is for the Hardcore crowd and backbreaker is for the "pick up and play" crowd.

hahaha one of my gripes with backbreaker is that the runners look like they aren't even trying to run fast.. they just jog along everywhere... and all the defenders just diving at the ballcarrier... hmm...
kind of funny you don't like Madden because of the running animations and you choose to buy that one...

At 1:45 on video 2 he makes a fair catch w/o signaling. Also, Kerry Collins has devil eyes.

So far, the rest looks very nice, though.
